21.01.2022 Finally, we get to share the teams competition pieces with you all. They have been working tirelessly on this since qualifying for the Coupe du Monde de la Ptisserie in April last year at the Asian Pastry Cup We are pleased to announce the team placed 6th in the world. They were also awarded 1st for the chocolate showpiece, best media jury prize for dessert and best team spirit. This is a big achievement as it is only the second time the team has competed in the world cup.... This was not possible without the help from volunteers and our amazing sponsors. 15.01.2022 The 3D owl for the ice cream entremets. It was designed as a 2 part mold by @Jon Pryer . The fact to make it a a doughnut shape was very complex to fit properly in everything. 04.01.2022 Did you know that Sonia Quek had 18 month to learn the art of sugar? Her piece ended up being 5th in the world during the Coupe du Monde de la Ptisserie thats an amazing outcome when you know what the level is like there. Thank you to Andre Sandison for sharing is knowledge and working some late nights with Sonia to get those skills up! Thank you to Unox Australia for being an amazing partner and providing us the exact oven that we competed with at the Asian Pastry Cup The team just did everything with this oven, from melting chocolate, to keeping sugar to temperature, baking obviously and even drying out some special guest sock!
