11.01.2022 We are growing Scriven's Sustainable Shrooms. We reuse coffee grounds in our substrate to grow our mushrooms. We would like to ensure our mushroom waste is reused and recycled as well. We have a number of mushroom grow bags available now for use as compost. Just break down the block and mix in with your compost or add straight to the garden. Just $2 each or 3 for $5. ... We can deliver or you can come and collect from Tyler. Don't be surprised if you find mushrooms growing in your compost! These bags are ALIVE.
09.01.2022 We have something special today to share with you. Our boys Alastair and Tyler, have been learning how to grow Organic Mushrooms over the last couple of weeks. This is our first harvest of Pearl Oyster Mushrooms grown in a Coffee substrate. We are recycling coffee grounds to grow fresh Mushrooms, don’t they look great? These Fresh, Organic Pearl Oyster Mushrooms were just harvested and are available now. We are delivering them in the local area for just $10 for 200g. You can... cook and eat the mushrooms whole as a steak or chop them up and add toy our meal. They have lots growing now and we hope (fingers crossed) that they will be ready next weekend. So, please look out for our post when they are available. The mask is a great fashion statement, but keeps them safe from the mushroom spores. PPS. Tyler has saved some of his harvest for dinner tonight!
