17.01.2022 GV CLUB CHALLENGE FLAG FOOTBALL TEAM ENTRY - ROYAL STACKS The second outfit from the Melbourne Uni Royals to compete in this legendary tournament will be Royal Stacks. Will their thirst for victory match their obvious hunger for delicious burgers? Time will tell, but led by Team Touchdown combine athlete Gabriel Bahamondes and Under 19 State Rep Zac Vitale, they will certainly have the youthful exuberance and talent to give it a crack.... 16.01.2022 As most are aware, we are running Flag Football leagues in both the Eastern and Southern Suburbs of Melbourne in 2021, and we are really keen to get more women's teams involved so that both competitions are viable. Both leagues will feature an 8 game season plus playoffs, running from NFL Superbowl week through to Easter. Led by reigning GV Defensive MVP Adam Kolinski and featuring a host of State and Australian representatives, this is another team that will be a serious contender for Flag Football Gold on February 6th.... 10.01.2022 Big year in 2021 for Drinkard Sports Team Power. Mexico in February, The Pacific Summer Bowl against the Team Touchdown Blitzaroos in July, and now The Caribbean Bowl against The Costa Rica Football League in October! We are stoked to be a part of this American Football Trilogy. :)

If you live in the greater Geelong area we highly recommend registering a team and participating! Bowl Season featuring teams from our Eastern and Southern leagues facing off against these Geelong teams? That’s not a bad idea. :)

To go along with our livestreamed competitions in the East and South - and the competition announced yesterday in Geelong - The Western Crusaders Gridiron Club will also be running pickup games in December followed by their own tournament in February 2021. If you are based in the West get on down to Henry Turner Reserve and give it a shot! Flag Football is a wonderful introduction to the sport of American Football. 06.01.2022 2021 TALENT EXCHANGE - COLUMBUS STORM AND TEAM TOUCHDOWN We are thrilled to announce an agreement between ourselves and the crew at @columbusstorm for a player exchange program in 2021 (Pending COVID-19 Travel Restrictions). This will give players from both Victoria and the United States a chance to play abroad for a season!... The Columbus Storm play in the APDFL, a semi-pro league based in the South-Eastern US, that maintains it's amateur status while giving players a chance to make it to the college ranks. If you are a GV player looking to try their hand in the APDFL, or a GV team looking to host an international player as a part this program, contact us for more info!

05.01.2022 EASTERN FLAG FOOTBALL - 2021 SCHEDULE RELEASED LATER THIS WEEK! The 12 teams in our Eastern Flag Football league are now set and our schedule will be released later this week. Cannot wait for the action to start at Ranger Field in February to see if anyone can stop the two time defending champion Gamecocks! Best of all - Double Headers will be livestreamed from the East every fortnight, alternating with our Southern Flag Football Competition.... It will be going down at Syd Pargeter Reserve in Endeavour Hills on Wednesday nights from February 10th, as new and old alike battle it out to see who will take home championship gold. Best of all - Double Headers will be livestreamed from the south every fortnight, alternating with our Eastern Flag Football Competition....
