Home made spaghetti bolognaise delivered and served by Ulli , Peta , Kathryn and Jess Home baked goodies delivered by Anne Fitzsimmons and Sarah Billingham along with Peta - soooo lucky !

08.01.2022 SUPER JUNIOR TRIATHLETE TAKEOVER 39 next gen junior triathletes will be landing at the Gold Coast Performance Centre tomorrow for the Epic T-Rex Gold Coast Triathlon Camp ! ... Aged 10-18 , juniors will be trained by a team of highly qualified coaches across the swim, ride and run and will also enjoy guest presenters to motivate and inspire them . Triathlon Australia’s High Performance Coach Dan Atkins will be joining the camp to explain the pathway to elite level and Olympic Swimmer Cam McEvoy also on board to add excitement to the camp ! Thanks to the many clubs who have their juniors joining us for the week of fun, friendships , skills and fitness !

Shirley has been committed to learning the skills for triathlon , never gives up , smashed her first Tamworth Dve ( the training road of champions !) And always has a smile A fantastic race representing our club at Moreton Bay too

07.01.2022 The Christmas Challenges just keep on coming In The land of the T-Rex ! Today was a team challenge with 4 teams of 7 = 28 triathletes wanting to WIN the spoils of victory ... the free CO2 cylinders ! ... The details ... each athlete had to complete 12 laps of the cycling track , PLUS as a team , complete 12 laps running of the same track ... distributed amongst team members catering to strengths and strategically allocated ! Non runners completed 18 laps cycling only for their team ! There were allegations of cheating , cutting corners , mis counted laps and of course alliances made , all in the name of being crowned the 2020 Covid friendly Crit Track Cycle to Run Team Challenge Champions ! ( say that fast !) After all disputes were considered , legal counsel consulted and drug testing completed .. the official champions are ... Team Eugine Martinz, Jordan Rieck, Matt Ostwald and Anne Driscoll!! Well done to all and we wish you a happy Christmas from our team to yours !

Thanks to all clubs and coaches who support our camps, sending your young guns to our programs . Big thanks also to Ulli and Peta for cooking the incredible dinners for the camp and also to Sarah and Anne for the wonderful home baked bars , muffins , slices , treats and frittatas for everyone ! We appreciate everyones help and also the Gold Coast Performance Centre for making our stays easy , flexible and always amazing !
