12.01.2022 CHRISTMAS IS COMING!! I’ve been in denial - but apparently even though this year has been a badly orchestrated rock show Christmas is still going to happen. So to throw a spanner in the works, I will be closing custom orders on November 20th. If there’s an Australian made gift you’d love to order or adorned your loved one/s with I suggest to place your order sooner rather than later. 05.01.2022 KOOOOOEEEE Hello everyone - I’ve been a bit hectic out here in the behind the scenes.. I thought I’d take the time to tell you a bit about TNT this is me - Lauren. I started Teapots and Tractors 10 years ago as a side hustle to fill my creative spirit and love of fabric. In this time I have met so many wonderful people through various markets from Roma in QLD to Millthorpe in the South and Mildura in the West. I am a graphic Designer currently working full time at our local... high school. I live on a property in Quirindi NSW with my Farming husband 3 kids, 2 dashounds and a menagerie of animals. I grew up in the bush and absolutely love everything about it; the people, the communities and the scenery. My parents are hard workers who instilled a go-getter attitude in all of us 6 kids. We are a tight knit family and my favourite times are when we are all together - this is my kids favourite place too- so many cousins! My love of fabric and appreciation of textiles comes from my design background and my Nanna taught me to sew - I am so lucky. I have a few other side hustle: theARTshED which is a shearing shed converted into a creative space where we have hosted a dinner party catered by Fast Ed (who is an absolute legend) I also run art workshops for children and adults as well as a welding program for women called WOW (women on Welders). We basically have a ball and I love doing anything to do with creating and I love teaching new skills that individuals can take away and use to express themselves. My freelance design business SpotOn has taken me everywhere I’ve needed to and I love creating everything from logos to social media, magazines and packaging. At TNT I choose fabrics that I love, are 100% cotton and envision them in different styles and combinations. I love that one outfit can last 3 years and then be passed on to other siblings for further use. Anyhow, I thought I’d share some personal info about me as I have had the privilege of meeting so many of the TNT fans and sharing your lives and babes from birth and beyond.
