24.01.2022 Don't forget tomorrow is photo day and although its going to be a little warm, we have been blessed with a beautiful day. Please have your kids in the correct uniform so everyone looks great in their group photo. Photos need to be ordered and paid for prior to tomorrow as there is a bit of planning involved. 23.01.2022 Friendly reminder that there is still no Little Aths at TTGAC tomorrow, 29th November, due to the community sports restrictions still being in place. One more week and we are back!! Little Aths General Training will also be cancelled until the following week. Enjoy your weekend and see you all back bright and early on December 6th!

20.01.2022 As predicted the weather forecast for tomorrow is for 37 degrees.... So the meet will start with morning chat at 8:45am. Please remember your hat, sunscreen and plenty of drink bottles!!! We will monitor events but the likelihood is the walks will be cancelled....however photos are going ahead as per normal. Stay cool folks and see you tomorrow..

18.01.2022 Just a friendly reminder that due to SA Health restrictions there is no Little Aths home meet tomorrow, and no State PB Classic. Stay home and stay safe everyone. 14.01.2022 With the weather shaping up to be a warm one tomorrow it may be necessary to implement our Hot Weather policy. "Hot Weather Policy" - Sunday Meets - If the temperature forecast for Sunday issued by the Bureau of Meteorology (Adelaide) at 5:00pm on Saturday is 37C or above the meet will begin at 8:45am. The warm-up will begin at 8:30am. If the temperature during the meet reaches 37C then the meet will be run as a modified meet. 13.01.2022 As expected it the decision has been made to postpone State PB Classic #1. Please check your emails for all the follow up information regarding this event. In line with all the new restrictions the TTGLAC will not be hosting home meet competitions or training for the next two weeks. This will give the committee a chance to do a complete clean of the equipment ready for the restart. Please keep an eye on emails for further up dates and most importantly stay safe!!

12.01.2022 2020 State Relay Championships The 2020 Little Athletics State Relay Championships will be held at SA Athletics Stadium on Sunday 13th December 2020. This is the first championship event for the 2020/2021 season and the Tea Tree Gully selection committee is in the process of selecting both track & field teams. Last season Tea Tree Gully was awarded the Pam Sard Trophy as the champion centre and our aim is to go back-to-back this year! The State Relay Championships... is one of the biggest events on the Little Athletics calendar. It is our chance as club to come together, support our teammates, have loads of fun and hopefully win a few medals. This year we are working on the assumption that all athletes in under 8 17 age groups are available for selection unless we are advised otherwise. It is imperative you let me know by emailing me at [email protected] by Monday 16th November 2020 if your child cannot or does not wish to participate. Finally, there is no cost to families for this event. The club covers the cost of all entry fees. Please check your emails for all relay updates and information. See more

05.01.2022 ** Covid 19 update ** As we are well aware there is a new cluster in the Northern suburbs and while as a club we take every precaution to prevent the spread, we ask again that you be very diligent in your hand washing and sanitising while around the club and please,.... if you have symptoms, are unwell or have indeed been in contact or near a case linked with this new cluster, please get tested and isolate. We will progress with general training as per normal tonight but chi...ldren will be asked to sanitise prior to and after training. If you have a child that may be linked to any of the new school cases involved please stay home. Also we ask parents to remember the social distancing rules while standing around waiting. 04.01.2022 On Monday the 16th of November Athletics SA held their AGM. At the AGM Caroline Jackman was awarded life membership with ASA. Caroline has been a TTG member for many years and is a highly qualified official and was part of the ASA board. Congratulations Caroline on your life membership.

03.01.2022 Hi TTG Senior athletes, next week ASA are running a club relay day. This event is not a championship and we were only informed less than a week ago about the details which included that there was a cost to clubs for each team entered. TTG have decided not to participate in this event due to the lack of time to organise teams and the cost involved. Instead we would like to welcome any athletes interested in running a relay to come to bulkana oval next Sunday 15th November to r...un in a 4x100m or Swedish relay at 11:30 (after Little Aths has finished). If you are interested put your name and the distance you would like to run in the comments below (or contact me directly). If you would like to compete in a field event (Discus, Hammer or Triple Jump) next Saturday 14th you can enter them as normal. Please note TTG will be entering teams in the State Relay Championship in February 2021. I will be in contact with athletes about this early in the new year.
