24.01.2022 On behalf of The Entrance Bateau Bay Blues we would like to send our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Steven Watson aka Wolfy who sadly passed away this week. Wolfy was a past player and President of the club during some of our most successful years of the Mid 90’s. He was a good friend to many in our club.

23.01.2022 The 11’s just missed out on finals footy but they gave everything they had all year. They have grown as football players and a tight of group mates which is the most important thing. 19.01.2022 U9’s had a tough game against the KV Bombers. After getting we’ll beat in the first half, they came through in the second half and played a blinder to win the match by a goal! Tackling and pressure was the best we’ve seen, not letting the Bombers run away with it. It’s great to see our training come off in the game. Player of the match was Phoenix, who is a tackling machine and gathered heap of possessions. Other trophies went to Ollie on the last line of defence, stopping several goals and Tyler who won the ball consistantly and is turning into a great little midfielder.

19.01.2022 U/14 Youth Girls. Close game against Wyong today. Every player showed courage and effort out on the field to play tough and fair footy. Well deserved to come away with the win girls.

18.01.2022 U/14 Youth Girls had a loss to Terrigal today. Player of the day Amber showed great toughness and all game effort at the footy. Keep it up girls - improving every week as we head into finals!

18.01.2022 As many of you may be aware one of our Senior Men, Shaun Greentree, had a extremely serious Injury during last Saturdays game. He has fractured 3 vertebrae in his neck and has bleeding/swelling on his spinal cord. He is currently in The Intensive Care Unit at Royal North Shore hospital. Until the swelling goes down it is difficult to determine the extent of his injuries. While we wait for progress in his situation, the Senior Men and Women’s teams want to raise some money to... help his family with the expenses of having to stay down in Sydney to be by his side. The costs of driving, accomodation, parking and food quickly add up. We were having a free BBQ for the Juniors tonight but we would like everyone getting some food to make a donation to Shaun and his family. We will have a bucket set up at the canteen. The Seniors will be having a paid BBQ during and after their training. On behalf of The Blues Family we offer our thoughts and prayers to Shaun and his family and hope for a speedy and full recovery.

It is only $5 per adult yes that’s right $5 per ticket for a ripping evening and a great way for our senior sides and their families to kick off 2021. 14.01.2022 U13’s gave another big hearted effort in a close loss to the Hawks. Special mentions this week were Jack for his tagging role, Liam for saving goals all day , Noah who went hard for 4 quarters, and Lachie Phillips for his best game yet. 12.01.2022 The Senior Presentation will be held on Friday 20th November at 7pm. The dress code is cocktail. All life members, sponsors will be notified shortly and are all invited or contact Scott Benjamin Reed, Tracey Allen or Damien Ashby in the meantime to let us know you would like to attend. Players have already been notified by their coaches and managers. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions there will not be any Plus1’s allowed unless you are told otherwise by one of the coaches or the president. We understand this is hard but it is a requirement.

11.01.2022 After senior Presentation on Friday night our season is now officially over! Thank you to everyone who put in such a great effort this year. Due to this season being put so far back, preparations are already underway for next year. The work never stops! This starts with our AGM this Sunday 29th November at 2pm. we will be electing our committee for next year and all positions will be declared vacant. We rely completely on volunteers to run our club. The more we have the easie...r it is for everyone. Please come down and put your hand up to volunteer for anything. It doesn’t just have to be an official committee role. we need volunteers for Coaching, Auskick Co-ordinators, Umpiring, canteen, team Managers, Assistant Coaches, scorers, strappers, Water running, First Aiders, Ground Managers, anything! Come down to show your support and put your hand up for something. If you can’t make it down but want to help out somewhere let me know. we look forward to seeing you all back again next year. The guys got their highest score on the board for some weeks and a few players have really found their roles within the team. The program will commence in November, and run through the AFL off season. This year the program is open for boys and girls that are 10 11 years of age in 2020. It is a skill development and education program, including weekly face to face sessions, and a variety of education modules that The Central Coast Academy of Sport excels in. 06.01.2022 For anyone that is free this Saturday, come on down to passage rd bateau bay sports complex and support our local football club. We are going to be running raf...fles all day and some silent auctions to raise some much needed money for Shaun Greentree, one of our senior men’s players. There is some great prizes to be won and some amazing items to be bided on. From meat trays, hair vouchers, Bunnings vouchers, Christmas vouchers, football jerseys, and the young talented local rock star , taj farrant has donated a signed guitar. That’s just to name a few. Not only will we be fundraising but we will also be hosting Afl grand finals so you get a chance to watch some good local football. So come on down and grab some raffle tickets, a beer and a feed and get behind a good cause. Shhhhhh, don’t forget the silent auction. All proceeds that we raise will go towards Shaun and his family. Please share this as much as you can to get this out there. The more faces the better. Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday.

05.01.2022 Masters footy last Friday night! Neighbour clubs Killarney Vale and The Entrance Bateau bay mixed it up for a great night of social footy followed by drinks and bbq! We even had club sponsors come down and play! A fantastic night was had by all! We’re going to make it a regular thing next season so any dads wanting to join in are more than welcome. Only grab and hold tackling so easy on the old bones!

Everyone played hard bu player of the match was Bobby who tackled hard and won the ball all day. Awards also to Connor Binns, Macca and Lachy M Who fought hard all day.
