05.01.2022 Unfortunately, Windows 7 is end of life tomorrow. This week only we are doing Windows 10 upgrade for a special price of $139 What does this mean? Here is a facebook post by SA Police:... As of tomorrow (14 January 2020) Microsoft will no longer be supporting the Windows 7 operating system. SA Police would like to remind the public that this means there will be no further security upgrades released. If you are using a Windows 7 operating systems this means you will be increasingly vulnerable to cybercriminals. If a computer system is attacked by a cybercriminal it can result in a loss of data, identity theft, ransom, extortion and compromise of login credentials and passwords to third party systems including banking websites. The SA Police Cybercrime Training and Prevention Section recommend upgrading to a newer supported operating system prior to ensure continued security patching and support. If you are a victim of cybercrime SA Police ask all members of the community to go to the Australian Cyber Security Centre website in the first instance: https://www.cyber.gov.au/report
