05.01.2022 Inquiry-based learning is a constructivist approach where the overall goal is for students to make meaning. Inquiry-based learning is an umbrella term that incorporates many current learning approaches (including project-based learning, design thinking) and may take various forms, depending on the topic, resources, ages and abilities of students and other variables. Here's a quote from Alan Kay "Computers are not rescuing the school from a weak curriculum, any more than putting pianos in every classroom would rescue a flawed music program. Wonderful learning can occur without computers or even paper. But once the teachers and children are enfranchised as explorers, computers, like pianos, can serve as powerful amplifiers, extending the reach and depth of the learners.
