17.01.2022 WE ARE OPEN! To combat this virus we have put some new guidelines in place to stop the spread of the virus . Our office is now closed... There will be minimal human contact, discussions about your car and payment over the phone is preferred All keys are cleaned, sanitized, then stored in zip lock bags - as well as our usual car protection (seat/steering wheel/handbrake/shifter covers) - and once the car is completed the invoice and keys will be again cleaned and stored in zip lock bags and handed to you (with gloves) or alternatively left in our Dropbox for you to collect. Apologies for any inconvenience however we need to stop the spread of this virus as much as possible and protect our customers and staff. Thanks Technique Automotive

16.01.2022 COVID-19 Update: Due to the current situation in Australia and all over the world we have updated a few things to prevent the spread of the Corona virus for our customers. All cars interiors and will be wrapped and protected before the vehicle is worked on , and then removed once it is completed and parked, we will also be using gloves for all jobs from this point forward to minimise any chance of our staff or our customers spreading/contracting the virus.... Alternatively we are also offering a complete no contact service , usually this is offered for customers who are unable to make it during work hours but we will now be offering it for everyone at any time during the day. It works as follows : Step 1 : Drop your vehicle off in our car park , lock the vehicle and put the keys through the office door key drop. Step 2: We will protect your car interior as pictured from all areas that you/we touch Step 3: We will call you to discuss your service/repair , organise payment etc Step 4: Pickup your car at a time that suits you, your key will be placed in our coded lockbox (the lockbox is sanitised constantly) and your payment receipt will be placed in the car. Although this seems extreme , it removes almost all human contact and allows both yourself and staff to be better protected. Also just a reminder whilst this virus has terrible consequences for our health , it is also taking its toll on small business, please remember to support local business when you can. A loyal customer and longtime Technique fan asked us to bring his recently purchased BMW 330 convertible up to roadworthy and reliable condition for him and we were more than happy to help. We love this model and it’s one of the all time BMW greats! The repair consisted of : Inspection 2 service (air filter,cabin filter,spark plugs, engine oil and filter)... Complete auto transmission service inc filter and gasket (we have a specialised flushing tool for the valve body ) Replaced Rear Diff oil Replaced fuel filter Replaced sump gasket and O-ring Replaced rocker cover gasket and bolt seals Replaced oil filter housing gasket Replaced pcv valve and all hoses Replaced castor arm bushes Replaced Rear brakes - ATE Ceramic Complete cooling system flush Brake fluid flush - ATE Replaced main drive belt Replaced drive belt idler pulley Replaced power steering reservoir Complete extensive clean of all engine parts Complete underbody and engine clean Replaced inlet/exhaust and crankshaft sensors New windscreen Liqui Moly fluids used Wheel alignment Complete Air-conditioning service/regass The pictures show what’s involved in a job like this and also the difference that good cleaning of engine parts make! 09.01.2022 With the introduction of Stage 4 lockdown restrictions due to COVID-19, we would like to keep everybody informed of our current situation. We are fully supportive of the Victorian Government’s initiatives to reduce the risk and stop the spread of COVID-19. We ARE STILL OPEN however with some changes in place.... Our office and main roller door will be closed so please call us on 94242931 for any bookings or enquiries. We will continue to operate under a COVID safe plan, and this will mean a system of no contact car repair. You need your car to get to food shopping / doctors/ caregiving etc We are an ESSENTIAL service and you ARE allowed to travel outside of the 5km restriction zone to have your vehicle repaired by us. 04.01.2022 Tech3 and Tech4 joining our loan car lineup! In all honesty this was a tough decision. During a worldwide pandemic and Victoria borderline complete lockdown , buying 2 more loan cars may comes across as a poor financial decision and usually this would hold us back, but then I remembered why we started and what we are here to do! Provide the best service and solve your automotive needs , and now with 4 courtesy cars we add convenience and take the pressure off our customers a...nd ourselves !!
