20.01.2022 Got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that various brands (MSI, Gigabyte, Asus & other brands) have now started requiring 10x motherboards or 10x 2060s for a single RTX 3080 or 3090. This will significantly slow things down in being able to ship out the new RTX cards to customers. The good news is that if you're after a motherboard or an RTX 2060 GPU they're going to be super cheap. Over the next few days we will progressively will be reducing prices, effectively down to cost price for various motherboards and GPUs.

15.01.2022 Edit. Update re. possible POSCAP issue... Nvidia released the drivers that are supposed to fix the problem: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/results/164741/... Also Roman (der8auer) has a video where he replaces some POSCAPS with MLCC caps and only got a 10-20 mhz improvement. So it seems that the caps aren't making much of a difference and it's mostly likely just a slightly too aggressive boost clock on a few cards. https://youtu.be/ud6NrbJllzk Also worth watching video below in light of the recent POSCAP (more accurately SP-CAP) vs MLCC discussion. Definitely clears things up a lot more. 14.01.2022 3080 FAQ massive update In the interest of transparency. I've put together a quick FAQ that covers any question I remember receiving. 10.01.2022 We've been keeping an eye on Facebook Marketplace & Gumtree for scalpers selling the new RTX cards at over inflated prices. Already removed a few from our wait list. If you see any in your local area feel free to send us a private message with a link to the listing. If we detect that they have signed up to our wait list we will be sure to remove them and also ban them from future wait lists if we do something similar for future product launches.
