It means businesses like outdoor dining, beer gardens, theme parks and zoos, can increase the number of patrons outdoors from one per 4 square metres to one per 2 square metres. The maximum number of attendees permitted at events with a COVID Safe Checklist will increase from 500 to 1,000 per day.
