24.01.2022 This is our secretary Gem Fielder. Gem is a multi talented pocket rocket. If she's not taking minutes she might enthral you with an improvisational dance piece, share a piece of trivia from her encyclopaedic music knowledge or fix your lipstick. We couldn't do without her.

16.01.2022 Rebecca Cotton is the renaissance woman of the TEDxBunbury crew and our wonderful hostess with the mostess. Ridiculously clever and talented there is nothing that Rebecca cannot do. Whether it's cycling a cool 100 kilometres, preparing our beautiful quotation slides, making props, singing, playing guitar, Irish dancing, speed skating, writing, facilitating, braiding hair, sewing, creating remarkable events, there is no stopping our amazing Cotton. TEDxBunbury is so proud to have Rebecca as the face, heart, hands and brain of our events.

10.01.2022 Little more than a month ago we had the enormous pleasure of hearing Julie and Ming talk about their experiences caring for their husband and father, and the man who was to become their muse. Anthony retained his sense of humour and his love for Julie to the end. It is with a heavy heart that we bid goodbye to Anthony who passed away on Wednesday night. He lives on in this talk and we thought it was a good time to share. .https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X--IXmtqbj0

09.01.2022 This amazing woman is our treasurer. Nicolle Shaw is another TEDxBunbury team member who is still working long past our event. Nicolle is making sure our numbers are crunched and our bills paid. Nicolle also had one of the biggest jobs on the day. Working out the complimentary tickets! This job resembled organising reservations for "The Restaurant at the End of the Universe." Luckily, Nicolle has a tremendous sense of humour, along with her head for figures!

08.01.2022 Our amazing piano player Louis Rebeiro is on Little Big shots now.

05.01.2022 Everyone feels safe when Thor Farnworth is in charge. This is our stage manager. Prompt, calm, efficient and reassuring. Every TEDx event should have one.

04.01.2022 The TEDxBunbury gnomes have finally arrived home in Gnomesville. Tag yourself if you recognise your gnome!

03.01.2022 We have it in on good authority that there are still tickets left for TEDxPerth on the 11th of November. Check out the speaker line up! Well worth a gander!

01.01.2022 FINDING HAPPINESS IN LOSS ‘My whole life revolved around him and I miss him so much’ When Dardanup woman Julie Goyder wrote her book about working with people... with dementia in 2001, she had no idea of the diagnosis that was to come for her husband Anthony. Mrs Goyder’s husband of 25 years was diagnosed with both prostate cancer and Parkinson’s disease dementia within weeks of each other. After a 6-year fight Anthony Goyder died recently and Mrs Goyder says they both found great joy in their final years together. A lot of people have said to me it must be a relief, but it’s not a relief - in his final days, we were having so much fun, Mrs Goyder said. I am struggling to find happiness now, but I know I will and I have so many wonderful memories. You can follow Julie Goyder’s journey at her online blog jmgoyder.com
