23.01.2022 Woo hoo! Our new hall entry is finally open!. Weve widened the stairs, added hand rails and a concrete path. Thanks to the Community Coordinators for the funds and the Hall Committee volunteers who put in so much time to make it happen. We might be biased but we reckon this is the best Community Hall in the Shire. A flag pole is coming next!

22.01.2022 Dont forget! Come and help us raise the flag on our new flag pole. Teesdale Community Hall.... the only place to be on Australia Day morning.

20.01.2022 The Teesdale Community Hall committee is seeking a new member to become our Secretary. Its not a huge job but essential for the effective and efficient running of the committee. Were a great little committee that just needs an additional pair of hands to ensure this job gets done well. If you can spare a couple of hours each month, wed love to hear from you. Get in touch with Dale on 0428 386 724 or 52815486.

19.01.2022 Well its taken a while but its finally here! Teesdale now has its own public Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The AED is located outside the front door of the hall in a white AED cabinet. The AED is freely available to anyone who is having a heart related medical emergency. It has been registered with Ambulance Victoria so when you call 000 with a heart related medical emergency, they can direct you to go to the hall to collect the AED.... AEDs are very, very easy to use. They talk you through the process step by step. AEDs have been proven to increase survival rates for people experiencing a heart related medical emergency. The AED is in an unlocked cabinet so that it is publically available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The AED is protected by several digital security cameras so that if someone pinches or interferes with it we will find the culprit. The AED will be managed by the Teesdale Community Hall Committee of Management who will carry out monthly checks to keep the unit in tip top condition. Many, many thanks to Kellie Dines, Geoff Wild, Leigh Valley Lions Club and all in the community who contributed funds to purchase this wonderful community asset. Feel free to share this post across your Teesdale networks so that all can know about this wonderful community asset. If you have any questions about the AED, please contact Dale on 0428 386 724.
