25.01.2022 Im back to work soon so I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who purchased my DIY kits and kept me busy during isolation . I honestly really enjoyed every moment with each of you . I enjoyed home delivering and personal tours of gardens and succulent collections . Video calls and learning a language to explain the process without my usual hands on approach . Mini workshops in my studio finally when we were allowed visitors and most of all , the best part is receiving p...ictures of your completed items . 23.01.2022 DIY hanging moss bass set inside reclaimed timber frame Special $70 I only have 4 available As with all my kits . I’ve done the hard part . I’ve kneaded together the clay and special components to create your kokedama mud ball . Wrapped this in glad wrap so all you need to do is crack open the ball set the roots of your succulent inside and then place it inside the nest of moss I’ve layered for you and bind . The hardest part of this is getting the perfect spherical sha...pe . The succulent varieties vary a little from the picture . I’ve had fun video calling my customers who’ve purchased my kits . I’m very happy to assist with and questions . 22.01.2022 My beautiful Mum . We shared some lovely moments this afternoon testing out my DIY flower arranging kit . My Mum has spent her lifetime supporting my every floral creative crusade and I just thought this was a lovely way to say thanks . She loves paper daisy’s and these three succulents are her favourite varieties . She wanted to make a long lasting table centrepiece so this is the design I came up with for her to make . Even after a couple of glasses of wine in the sun... it didn’t turn out too bad . Good job Mum . ( ok I did help a little bit ) Flower arranging kits made to order PM for further details

19.01.2022 Mother’s Day special This is one of my favourite workshops to run . The mother and daughter dream catcher . There’s always such joyous energy in these classes . You might ask why . So I’ll tell you what I see when I run this class . To me there is nothing in life as unique and special as the bond a mother and daughter share . I know life’s busy and we quite often get caught up living but when I teach this class I see two people taking the time out to enjoy that special bon...d . I don’t just see them crafting together I see them creating a memory of special time shared together . Then after class I encourage everyone to turn over the lower feather display and write a message on the back . When I read these messages, it warms my heart . I can not teach this class at the moment . So I’m offering this as a mother’s day Special . I know there are a lot of girls who have been waiting for me to post dates so get in quick to secure your seat . Let me describe a little bit about why this wreath is so special . I have worked as a florist for nearly 30 years now and during this time you could only imagine how many Christmas wreaths , funeral wreaths ,Easter wreaths and wreaths just for fun that I have made . I have experimented with many different mediums but of course succulents have always been my passion . So it’s no surprise I’d put years of effort into making the perfect living succulent wreath . It’s perfect to me for these reasons . These succulents are planted into a very special soil mixture where your plants will grow and continue to grow for as long as you look after it . I’ve also designed this to be a bit of fun . We all know succulents need to be outside to thrive and be happy ,but the beauty of this design is you can bring it inside for a little bit over Chrissy to decorate and after ,you can take it back outside to enjoy all year . I also share my propagation knowledge and I give you lots of cuttings to play with . I choose the varieties that grow well together and like the same environment . 14.01.2022 Yes dried flowers are back in fashion but I see beauty in many dried earthly forms and the fun part of being a florist is being able to blend all of these textures together to create a story . What I enjoy about this arrangement is you can’t help but get close to see all of the hidden treasures . This is for sale at $250 and the good news is I will be offering versions of this for workshops pretty soon .
11.01.2022 I have a treat for 4 lucky people . I had a little extra time on my hands so I spent the morning basing up 4 wreaths . For those of you who have attended my Christmas wreath workshop you will appreciate just how much work and love goes into prepping these bases . The class normally runs for three hours and I’d say the first two hours is binding and more binding and the binding being checked by the binding nazi . So I’m happy to say I’ve done the hard work for you . 11.01.2022 The Ju Ju hat This is one of my specialised Workshops . It takes quite a lot of effort to create one of these feathery beauties . So to accomodate everyone I have several options . 1.) So for those of you who have attended my workshop and have been asking about kits I can put together a DIY kit for you . We will of course need to discuss accent colours etc but I can put the package together with step by step instructions to help you through . ... 2.) For those new to Ju Ju hat making . You would need to come collect the kit then and allow some time for me to show you my gluing and fluffing techniques so you can achieve this fullness . Then choose your accent colours with me . I can complete two rows of gluing for you to get you started . 3.) I can offer a mini workshop of just two people . I invite you into my studio where you will learn the construction and pleating techniques I’ve developed to achieve this look plus we will share some cheese and biscuits and by the end of these workshop I’m pretty sure I would have made two new friends I allow 4 hours for this workshop . 4.) you are welcome to come to my mini shop I’ve set up in my studio to purchase bases and feathers and design your own . Feathers are priced per packet . My studio is in rathmines and you will need to make an appointment . 5.) I have my display Ju Ju hats for sale . I was lucky enough to be invited by Megan Morton to teach this workshop in her business called The School . These display Ju Ju hats were for inspiration for my students . Prices below in comments under each pictured item . 6.) I can custom design and make Ju Ju hats . Prices will need to be quoted individually depending on what design we go with . Sets are popular coupled with mirrored centred wall pieces . I love to do this . I really get to use my creativity in this area . 7.) Once theses feathers are sold this will be the last time I can offer these prices . 10.01.2022 This is a fun little DIY kit . Did you know that dried flowers are the latest must haves in room styling ? I’m pretty sure some of you may have noticed the price tag that comes along with the trendiest bleached and glycerine preserved flowers too . So I’ve popped together this affordable dried flower wall hanging . ... Those of you who know me know how I just love to upcycle . So I’ve utilised the upcycle picture frame from my succulent garden kit and made this everlasting wall hanging . I’ve prepped the frame with dried flower oasis and concealed it with dried elkhorn fronds and paper bark. What I find special about this , is 90 percent of the products used are sustainably sourced ( in simpler terms , grown in Mandalong ) no chemicals or pesticides to worry about here . There are elements to play with that are dried and will last , there are succulents that you can later plant into the garden and the recycled fence pailing base would be great to fill with dirt and turn into a planter . You will receive the base prepped with oasis and ready to go and a great big bunch with all these goodies to create your heart out .
