06.01.2022 ******Telecommunications trades assistant (NBN) required****** The Position: We currently have an opportunity for a NBN Telecommunications Trade Assistant to join our professional hard-working team installing working on the installation of the NBN FTTP network in Multiple Dwelling Units (MDUs). ... Your team will work new construction projects across Brisbane with the position being project field based and requires travel to sites for the install of cabling and internal equipment in MDUs. Safe use of our company hand and power tools as well as use of our project support system will be part of your normal working day. The role will involve the installation of cabling to lead in properties, rod and roping, and MDU installations. The majority of the work carried will be undertaken on live networks and will be performed under the NBN program of works. Job requirements and responsibilities: Use of hand and power tools Good communication skills Well presented, physically fit & healthy Hard working, reliable, keen & able to take direction easily Ability to read project documentation Practice safe work at all times A positive team member & diligent with ability to work unsupervised Persons with experience in the construction trades industry, ability to work on ladders or someone who is willing to learn and develop experience and skills in telecommunications industry are encouraged to apply.
