18.01.2022 What a wonderful achievement for this young guy Mitul Patel and his wife. Mitul moved to Adelaide from Sydney in 2016 with hope to get 187 RSMS visa grant from Retail franchisee store but nomination didnt go through due to its being franchisee store. He contacted us for any alternatives and we assessed his complete profile to know that while he was studying his Master of Accounting in Sydney, he was also working as Cook back in Sydney and meet the Skills assessment requirem...ents for TRA. We assessed his qualifications and experience through TRA and secured his 489 nomination from Regional NSW back in 2017 and eventually 489 granted in 2018. In July 2020 he completed his 489 requirements so we lodged his 887 visa and today we finally got his Permanent residency granted. He was never told for such pathway and was asked to lodge 187 RSMS which most likely was going to get refused due to Employer being franchisee store. Glad to see the struggle and dedication brought him to today when he would be calling Australia his home for rest of his life along with his wife. Congratulations again, time for celebration #AussizzAdelaide #AussizzMigration

17.01.2022 This week: 1. 491 granted to our client from Bangladesh- occupation Civil Engineer- education from a public university in SA renders him eligible for a position... in his field of study, which leads him to obtain a 491 in no time! 2. 491 granted to the lovely couple from Nepal- this must have brought a huge relief to the applicant who has spent more than a decade in Australia on temporary visas if we remember correctly. Our happiness is not any lesser! 3. A big event for our partner visa applicant whose spouse received a travel exemption to travel to Australia while waiting for his partner visa grant- Covid-19 travel ban disrupted their plans to be united for a while, but ultimately they can now, after waiting for 2 months for an approval to travel! We wish a happy time ahead to all these applicants, including those who, we hope, could celebrate their own success soon!

15.01.2022 ** Update for 2020-21 Migration program ** Until otherwise advised, the existing 2019-20 Migration Program settings will continue to remain in place. This means the 2020-21 planning ceiling will be retained at 160,000 places, the level set for the 2019-20 Migration Program. This includes:... 108,682 places for the Skill stream. 47,732 places for the Family stream. 236 places for the Special Eligibility stream. 3,350 places for Child visas Will States and Territories be given any nominations in the 2020-21 Migration Program, or are the State/Territory skilled nominated programs and Business Innovation and Investment Program closed indefinitely? - The State and Territory nominated visa programs will play an important part in Australias economic recovery and continue to be a part of the Migration Program. - The Australian Government is considering how best to shape the Migration Program into the future to drive economic growth and support job creation. Nominations will be made available to States and Territories in line with these considerations, in the following categories: - Skilled Nominated (subclass 190). - Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) (subclass 491). - Business Innovation and Investment Program. What invitation rounds for Skilled Independent (subclass 189) and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) (Family Sponsored) (subclass 491) continue to be run each month? - The Government is closely monitoring migration and visa settings to ensure they are consistent with public health measures, are flexible and do not displace job opportunities for Australians so that Australia can deal with the immediate and post recovery impacts of COVID-19. Targeted invitation rounds have continued each month and prioritise skills which are in critical need and will aid Australias economic recovery.
