05.01.2022 Over the last little while we have been getting a number of people contacting us, saying that someone claiming to be from Telstra have been calling them, saying they (the client) has issues/viruses ect on their pc/internet connection, and that they have to remotely login to fix the issues. THESE ARE SCAMMERS!! The best thing to do in these situations is to say thank you I'll get my computer guys to look into it and hang up, and remember that unless you have called Telstra and are expecting a call back, the only reason they'll ring you out of the blue is if your phone contract is at an end, and to sell you a new plan/mobile/tablet. The same rule applies if the person says they are from Microsoft, Optus ect.
