25.01.2022 Ready to go for 2 days of racing

25.01.2022 A wet qualifying session at The Bend this morning for the Aussie Tin Tops and the track was extremely slippery! Rob had a harmless spin into the gravel trap late in the session, but was still able to qualify third in the Super Cup (Carrera Cup car) class and 10th outright. Race 1 comes up at 2:15 this arvo (2:45 for those of you in the eastern states), tune in on FOX Sports 506 and Kayo!

24.01.2022 Our Toyota 86 arrived back from the paint panel shop today, after some minor panel repairs and a full respray. Time to get it back together now, in preparation for the Toyota 86 race series.

21.01.2022 A ripper start for Rob was the highlight of Aussie Tin Tops Race 2 - he made up four places by the first corner! After that, he had some good battles with a couple of MARC cars and some other Porsches, eventually coming home 12th outright and fourth in class. One race to go, at 1:55pm in the eastern states - make sure youre watching on FOX Sports 506 or Kayo Sports!

19.01.2022 Another third place outright (second in the Super Stuttgart Class) for Luke Youlden in the second Aussie Tin Tops race! Once again, Luke was in the thick of the action, with the V8 Supercar of Josh Fife ahead and pressure from Ryan Suhle in another Porsche just behind. But he managed to stay ahead of Suhle and overtook Fife late in the race when the Supercar stopped with a mechanical problem. Race 3 comes up at 2:40pm, tune in on Fox Sports 506 or Kayo!

18.01.2022 Looking forward to the first round of the Porsche Motorsport Australia Virtual Cup at Phillip Island tonight - thanks to the design work of Graphics Tier, our virtual 911 GT3 looks sensational and will certainly stand out on track! Rob Woods has been setting some quick times on the simulator and he loves the Phillip Island circuit, so he's thoroughly looking forward to the evening. It all kicks off at 6:50 tonight with practice, qualifying and three races - bring it on!

18.01.2022 Here are the results from Aussie Tin Tops Race 1, thankfully held in far drier conditions than we had for qualifying - Rob finished 14th outright and fourth in the Carrera Cup class. Two more races tomorrow, at 10:25am and 1:25pm (10:55 and 1:55 in the eastern states). The weather forecast is looking fine as well!

17.01.2022 We're here in sunny Townsville, all set for our first time at the track and Rob Woods' first time racing on a street circuit. Rob will be racing his Seage Transport/Commercial Interior Projects Porsche GT3 Cup car in the Aussie Tin Tops support races this weekend, in the "Super Stuttgart" class. In preparation for his street racing debut, Rob has been doing some training on the simulator with our gun driver coach, Luke Youlden - so he's feeling sharp and ready for combat!... The on-track activity kicks off tomorrow with practice at 8:35am, qualifying at 12:10pm and Race 1 at 2:40pm. The good news is this weekend's races will be televised on Fox Sports 506 and live-streamed on Kayo, and no doubt Rob will be in the thick of the action!

17.01.2022 We're off to The Bend Motorsport Park this weekend for the next Aussie Tin Tops event... and the exciting news is Rob Woods will be racing our latest weapon! This is our new Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup car, the same as the ones that currently race in the Carrera Cup Series. Compared to the 991.1, it has a larger and more powerful engine (4.0 Porsche flat six) and slightly improved downforce - so all in all, it should be a bit faster. Rob already has experience racing at The Bend in... Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge and is looking forward to being back behind the wheel for a fun weekend. Practice, qualifying and Race 1 will be on Saturday with Races 2 and 3 on Sunday; once again, the races will be shown live on Fox Sports and Kayo and we'll be punching out updates during the weekend via this page

15.01.2022 Some more great improvements for Ollie Shannon Racing in the Seage Transport/Bondi Carpets/Ceiling By Design car in Race 3 of the Toyota 86 Series this arvo. As well as making up another two positions to finish 15th, Ollie also improved his best lap time by an outstanding 1.5s, recording a 2:42.1! The 86 Series is back on track for Race 4 tomorrow morning at 9:55am - the last race on the program before the Bathurst 1000

14.01.2022 A great drive from Ollie Shannon Racing in the final TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Australia 86 Series race of the weekend! Ollie ran as high as 11th and was battling for a spot in the top 10, also recording his best lap time of the weekend - a 2:39.8 (smashing his PB by more than two seconds). Unfortunately, some technical issues saw him drop back to 15th at the finish but it was still an impressive performance to complete his debut weekend on the Mountain.... Now we get straight back into the action with the final Aussie Tin Tops race!

12.01.2022 Tekworkx Motorsport will make there debut in Porsche Payce Carrera Cup Australia this season with selected round appearances to be announced, before a full season assault in 2021. We are extremely excited to announce Seage Transport as our sponsor for the 2020 season rounds. Our Pro driver selected to pilot the Porsche 991 Gen 2, comes very highly credentialed being a Bathurst 1000 winner, amongst numerous other achievements during his Motorsport career. 11.01.2022 Race 1 of the Aussie Tin Tops complete here on the streets of Townsville! With Rob electing not to race today, it was down to our super-sub, Luke Youlden, to steer the Commercial Interior Projects/Seage Transport Porsche and he did a ripper job, qualifying fifth and finishing third outright in the race (second in the Super Stuttgart class). The highlight of the race was Lukes cracking battle with Josh Fife in the V8 Supercar - the V8 had a bit more grunt but Luke was all o...ver him through the corners. Hopefully he can find a way past tomorrow! Tomorrow afternoon we have two more races at 12:05 and 2:40, dont forget you can tune in on Fox Sports 506 and Kayo Sports (and watch some awesome in-car footage).

09.01.2022 A big drive through the field for Rob Woods in Aussie Tin Tops Race 2 - he charged from 31st on the grid to 14th outright and second in the Porsche Master class! The good news is he gets to start in that position for the third and final race tomorrow morning. Now we get straight back into the action for Race 3 of the Toyota 86 Series, with Ollie Shannon Racing starting in P17.

08.01.2022 Who doesn't love the mighty Holden LJ Torana GTR XU-1, revered by motorsport fans as the car that slayed the Ford Falcon GTHO at Bathurst in 1972? We've just started working on a customers build project for one of these iconic cars. As you can see, it's been stripped back to the bare shell, ready to be blasted back to bare metal. The next stage will be to install complete custom front and rear ends (which will be pre-fitted) before we re-fit the panels and apply some new pain...t. A lot of hard - but very fun - work ahead, and we look forward to sharing more pictures as we go through each stage of the process.

06.01.2022 Test at Queensland Raceway. TekworkX took three cars to QR yesterday for testing, two Porsches and a Toyota 86, with the 991 Gen 1 Porsche being driven by Rob Woods, who is no stranger to the Porsche having driven it the last two seasons of Porsche Sprint Challenge. The Toyota 86 having its first test after a full rebuild driven by Woods daughter Zoe under the guidance of her driver coach Bathurst Champion Luke Youlden. It was Zoe first day at a race track other than her dri...ve training that she attends at Norwell Motorplex, which has been a great grounding and learning experience for her, so it was off to a different track and she adapted very well and will take a lot out of the day, as she progresses through her driver training. The other Porsche Gen 2 current Carrera Cup spec car, was having its first test under new ownership having been purchased in late 2019, what better way for it to be tested then by Luke Youlden. Luke having his first full test in the 991 and he didnt disappoint, leaving our engineer and mechanics very optimistic and all looking forward to going racing where we know we can be at the point end of the grid. With the current health situation and limited racing, we will be doing more testing hope to have Luke in the car for some Carrera Cup rounds late in the year. See more

01.01.2022 A good finish to the weekend for Rob Woods, who came home 12th outright after some more entertaining mid-pack battles in the last Aussie Tin Tops race. The results from the three races saw Rob finishing second overall for the weekend in the Porsche Master class. Overall, a fun and productive weekend at the Mountain... now it's time to sit back, relax and enjoy the 1000!

01.01.2022 Some more good improvements for Ollie Shannon Racing in Toyota 86 Race 2 - he improved his best lap of the weekend by 0.7s and made up four more places to finish 17th. The Seage Transport/Bondi Carpets/Ceiling By Design car will be back on track for Race 3 at 3:20... but first, Rob will be back on track for Aussie Tin Tops Race 2 at 2:40.
