12.01.2022 Long post alert . One year ago we were announced as gold winners at the NSW Tourism Awards for Hosted Accommodation. The awards came in the midst of a crazy week starting with a bushfire evacuation and including our eldest turning 18, finishing his HSC and graduating, me driving to Sydney for the awards with all our precious household items crammed in the car after flights were cancelled due to smoke, and finishing up with our neighbours fighting the fire which broke contai...nment lines again. So many people stepped in to help that week of the fires including those who offered accomodation to our family and to our animals and we are incredibly grateful. Little did we know that week would be the start of a crazy year for the whole world. We are incredibly proud of our achievements here and love what we do and living in our little community. Since the awards were cancelled this year I guess we can claim the gold award for another year See more
