22.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Just a casual reminder about behaviour whilst visiting your club. Unruly, obnoxious, or anti-social behaviour is not tolerated on or around the premises. If you behave in a way that has an adverse effect on other patrons or the image of your club, you will be reminded by staff to mind your manners. If it continues you will be asked to leave. Any threatening or violent behaviour will result in your being ejected immediately. If you have to be ejected from the ...club, you will be issued with a formal warning which may result in a suspension of membership, or in extreme circumstance the cancellation of membership. Please remember this is a family club, there are kids about, and patrons who may not appreciate explicit language. Most of all though, remember to have a great time whilst you are visiting your club. We are here for you, the community, to provide a safe, fun space for everyone. Best regards from your Board of Directors. See more

19.01.2022 Good morning fantastic community. Just wanted to let you know that your club is doing amazing thanks to your help. We still need lots of pledges and / or loans to keep the club alive. We’ve had an amazing response but still have a ways to go. For us to stay open, we need your help. If we can’t raise the money then the club will be closed. It cannot be reopened by anyone once it’s closed. Just remember people, if you pledge or donate money no matter what happens you WILL get it back.

18.01.2022 Dear Members, Guests, & Friends, The board of your club would like to let you all know that the club has be doing some rather awesome trade over the last few months, clearly this is due to your valued support and our staff, thanks to all. By the end of this month your Club will have an impressive balance in the bank, most of which will go towards the debt owed. Interestingly, if we add back the amount we had to pay for legal fees then we would have the full amount originally ...demanded which was not due to be paid until November this year. Clearly your Club is a viable business! Just imagine how much better your Club could have been if we did not have COVID-19 restrictions. It is very important to us, to say thank you to our wider community and the patronage you have shown in support of your club. Without you we wouldn't be able to go on to help our community when it's needed. As a result of the above, it’s now time to employ more people to assist our staff, so we are looking to employ 3 Junior Staff Members to help with washing dishes, cleaning and clearing of tables, etc. Shifts will be 3.5 hour shifts 5pm to 8:30pm Wednesday to Saturday plus midday to 3:30pm on Saturdays. Typically there may be special events on Sundays which will need to be covered. Clubs Australia award rates paid. Please contact Pam at the Club to arrange an interview - 5507 9949 Successful applicants will start week day paid training during the next School holidays.

17.01.2022 Dear Members, Guests and Friends, Fantastic news!! Yesterday, 23rd July the Administrators of your club held the second creditors meeting where the main agenda items were to either approve and accept the Deed Of Company Arrangement (DOCA) or to have the club liquidated. The DOCA was prepared by the board and is a road map detailing how your Club intends to raise funds to pay all creditors 100% of the monies they are owed. The administrators had already approved of the DOCA..., clearly indicating that it is achievable. If this were not the case then the administrator would put your Club into liquidation. It was clearly stated that approval and successful execution of the DOCA means creditors would receive their money in 3 months at the latest. However, if the vote had been for liquidation then not only would there be significant additional costs to your club, but creditors may need to wait 6-12 months before being paid. So the choice was a simple one, raise money in the short term to pay creditors sooner and your Club remains open, or your Club is liquidated & closes and creditors have to wait a long time for their money. All creditors on the day with the exception of one (and by default their one proxy) voted in favour of the DOCA. It was clearly indicated that this one person wanted the Club to liquidate and therefore close it’s doors for good. It truly is a shame that someone who has done so much for the Club in time ,money and effort over the past 4 years now wants your Club to close, unbelievably disappointing. Please ignore any rumours. Know that your Club is open and the board will do everything it can to ensure your Club remains open. www.facebook.com/TelePointSportsClub/ - This is your Clubs’ official Facebook page, and will be updated with the latest news about your Club. The only other place from which you can glean correct information is from myself, Glenn Griffin, one of the other board members - Peter Jackson, Pam Mcardle, Bob Graham, Linda Graham, Ben Turnbull, or the administrators - Parker Insolvency. We have 5 amazing members committed to lending your club a total of $55,000 There are also $2000 in Pledges, and $650 in donations. Remember - every dollar helps, please consider lending support to your club - all monies will be refunded 100% no matter what happens. Please spread the word about our block of land for sale adjacent to the club, for more details contact [email protected]

10.01.2022 Good Afternoon to our beautiful Club Members, patrons and supporters. We have some great news. Apologies for the long post, but it’s worth it! With time running short and our administrators wanting to be able to release your club from administration, they made the decision to sell the clubs most valuable assets - it’s land and the building - which would allow all creditors of the club to be paid in full. Of course, next to it’s primary objective, the administration also has t...he best operating interests of it’s client at heart and so included as part of the sale was a water tight contract of tenancy lasting 15 years with the option of a second 15 years. At the conclusion of the first 15 year block, your club will be given the option to buy back the building and the parcel of land on which it sits. What this means is that your club, once released from administration can once again begin trading under the guidance of the board of directors, and work on projects for the wider community. We already have some plans in place for major improvements that we think you will love. When we as the board of directors created the DOCA (Deed of Company Arrangement) we didn’t include a sale of the building, but instead only one of our three parcels of land. We were relying on community support, and being able to pay our creditors over a period of time. Our administrators were approached by a local business person to sell all three parcels and the building, and as is insolvency law, the administrators must consider this. Whilst under administration, the administrators can undertake sales such as these without consultation to director/s of a business. I wanted to include this to squash the silly rumours circulating that we (the board of directors) had sold the club without holding a members meeting, thus neglecting our duties as directors. The actual fact is, the administrator did this without our consultation which is completely within his duties. And the good news is that you fantastic members have your club back! All outstanding debts will be paid in full, in the first quarter of next year. This can only be held up if any of the creditors dispute the amount to be paid to them, which will be decided by the administrators based on documented proof of debt. All pledges and loans will be returned in full to the amazing and generous members who were prepared & able to back their club. We can’t express how much it means to us.Also important to note is that we are due for an AGM, however whilst under administration we are unable to have one. Our administrators informed ASIC of this, and so once the Board of Directors are once again at the helm of your club we will schedule one as soon as practical. We hope that you are all as happy about this as we the board are, and we are looking forward to being able to support our beautiful community once more. Best regards, Glenn Griffin - Chairperson.

03.01.2022 Dear Members, Guests, & Friends. Many members would have received an email about a week ago, and many would have received a letter recently, they are one and the same message: Your Club needs you! The message is simple, if your Club does not receive financial help from members in the form of donations, pledges and/or loans then your Club will close.
