15.01.2022 Gotta offload a lotta pics and videos to free up a bit o space and I found this one. It's from last year towards the end of a ten week road trip to the north west, top end, central country and lots of other bonza places on the way and in between. Young Jan and myself were camped on a dry river bed south of Arkaroola in SA after completing a fair days drive from Innamincka. We had the campfire keeping the cool night air at bay so I thought I might as well spin a yarn to put out there sometime. This yarn from some years ago gives a hint of an insight into the lifestyle of the Bilby. It also tells a hint of a story of Libby the Bilby. It goes for near on 5 minutes so I hope you don't mind it.
14.01.2022 Stayed at the Marree hotel. The hosts Phil and Maz are amazing folk, they invited us to have dinner with them and they shared their local knowledge of places that we must see. We left them with some CD's for then to sell and 100% of the sales go to the Royal Flying Doctor Service. The next day we headed off to a beautiful camp spot they recommend and the returned to the pub the following day where we were told that one cd had already been sold and Martin was asked to recite a few poems which he did and another cd was sold So the moral to this story is you can now purchase the cd A Natural Selection from the Marree Hotel and you will also be helping out the RFDS
13.01.2022 "The wind from Uluru" was published in the latest edition of the Australian Bush Poets Association magazine.
12.01.2022 It's been a while since the last posting on the Teller of Tales from Tarrengower site but with the days of self isolation upon us, it is probably an appropriate time to share a few verses.
11.01.2022 Martin was over the moon last night when our daughter Lara came home from work and told him that a customer came into her work with a copy of Martin's CD which he purchased on a recent visit to the Marree Hotel. 100% of the sale of "A Natural Selection CD" when purchased at the Marree Hotel goes to the Royal Flying Doctors.

07.01.2022 While we're still self isolating to flatten the curve on this virus that's giving the world lots of grief, here is another yarn with verse to share with you all.
07.01.2022 This one is for those in need of a footy fix during self isolation. It’s based on grass roots club level football
03.01.2022 After a big tidy up of the office today came across a poem by that was written for the opening of our Bendigo Community bank here in Maldon way back in 1999 and also some unfinished work not a bad find.

02.01.2022 Just out of Oonadatta we stopped at a lookout site and on this little sign post was a tin box marked "poetry box" Upon opening the lid we found it full of poetry that passer byes have put in there. It was a windy day and the top poem on bright blue paper flew out and was chased across the Oonadatta Track and retrieved and put back in the box. I copy of "A natural selection" cd was placed in the box. I don't know who collects these poem or what they do
