25.01.2022 Great week with a cool crowd of 4.7s at South Brisbane Sailing Club. Very different to put some bay sailors through their river paces. Having grown up river sailing I found the experience a great one. Today I’m at the Nav station on Trouble+Strife for the Surf to City Yacht Race. More changes of pace to come this week!

18.01.2022 Great week at Hervey Bay Sailing Club working with some of the Nacra 15s. After arranging to support team NSW it was great to have some Queenslanders get together and decide to work together for the event. Having been involved getting the first few boats sailing and growing the class its awesome to see the fleet edging up month by month! Having Coached elite sailors in this class before its great to be able to apply some of those lessons learned over months of intense traini...ng in the first year the boats were in Australia. Well done to Bailey and Harry for their podium, and to all of the competitors in the Squad who got to experience the first steps in working in a small group and learn how the sailing "game." This weekend its a bit of Coaching at the keyboard, supporting some sailors with what is a challenging year in Goal setting. Im always happy to chat sailing with young sailors who are a bit lost at the moment about what to aim for! Next week its down to South Brisbane Sailing Club and the Laser 4.7 class, a few days training camp with some younger sailors in the class. I've had quite a few requests for Coaching this week in the lead up to regattas, unfortunately I'm on quite a tight schedule this week. If you'd like to get involved in some performance coaching early this year get in touch as I will only have limited availability. Hopefully see you all on the water soon!

16.01.2022 It’s a bit gloomy but the weather won’t stop the NACRA 15-17 Australia Queensland Championships! Looking forward to a great week watching the racing. Really unfortunate to not have our NSW friends come up, but we will see them on the track soon!
