02.01.2022 END OF YEAR CONCERT UPDATE As advised in the LIVE update here on Friday, the P&C wrote to the school last week to see what compromise could be reached relating to end of year Kindy - Year 6 performances. GREAT NEWS!!! Mrs Blain advised today that the Directorate notified the school of further easing of restrictions. They are now 1 person per 2sqm. ... The school hall is 420sqm (after allowing for space occupied by children), this leaves 300sqm. Given these revised restrictions, the school has agreed to allow 150 parents per concert (with the possibility of grouping KINDY & year 1 & year 2&3) This is ALL dependent upon the following: - Sufficient Volunteers to assist on the day (ensuring social distancing is adhered to). NO VOLUNTEERS, NO VIEWING FOR PARTICULAR YEAR GROUPS - Smart phones to scan QR codes - for tracking purposes - Only 1 family member (siblings unable to attend) per family to allow for every family to be involved. I note the Year 4 - 6 concerts are this Thursday. So unless sufficient volunteers nominate for these dates, at this stage the school has suggested year 6 performance be given priority. I will flick out a google form tomorrow via social media and will attempt to have it sent out via email. This will outline all the dates and times of performances and ability to nominate specific availability to assist on the days. PLEASE NOTE: This is not a guarantee every year group will be able to be viewed. Assistance will involve setting up, directing parents in and out of the hall and ensuring restrictions are adhered to.
