17.01.2022 To help you understand handicapping terminology better, this is what a Three Year Old Concession means. . A horse that is 3 years old with a Rating greater than 50 that is nominated for an Open Age Race is able to claim a deduction of up to 5 National Rating Points. . The minimum Rating of the subject 3yo cannot be less than NR50.... for example: A 3yo with a Rating of 53 would thus have a Rating of 50 for an Open Age Race. . The 3yo Concession can be claimed in races below 55 Rating Points (unless otherwise stated) . 3yo concession can be claimed in conjunction with a Driver or Mares claim but not both. Therefore the maximum concession that can be claimed is 10 rating points. . 15.01.2022 To enable easy check-in at our 8 December race event we have our Temora Trotting Club QR codes ready. . One for participants to be scanned at the secretary's office. . Another for patrons to be scanned at the Mimosa Street entrance. Our friendly volunteers will be able to assist you and will have a device to use if yours is not compatible.... . The bar will be open to serve alcohol to SEATED patrons. . The tote will be in operation and so will the kiosk as per usual. . Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy the races on Tuesday night. There is no need to book in but you will need to scan our new QR code on arrival. We also ask that you wear the wristband given to you by the gatekeepers. . Thankyou so much for your understanding.
