25.01.2022 Happy Week 10! Bundawarrah yearbooks are now available to purchase for $5 from the front office for students that have not paid their school fees. 23.01.2022 The 2020 Share the Dignity-'It’s In The Bag' campaign is back! Donations of personal hygiene items for women in need such as: Shampoo, Conditioner, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Roll-on deodorant, pads/tampons, soap or Body wash, etc. Pre-loved hand bags or backpacks in good condition, are also welcome. Items can be given to Mrs Elwin or to the CAPA staffroom before 9am TOMORROW

12.01.2022 Meet the man behind the design. Year 9 student, Devlyn, combined the various designs put forward by the THS Indigenous Team and put his own twist on them to create this stunning shirt. The design features walking tracks, a campfire, goanna tracks and a meeting place. Well done, Dev, you should be proud!
12.01.2022 Congratulations to Damian Wells, Sophie, Bowley, Grace Krause and Lana Pike who represented at the All Schools Athletics Carnival last week. All four athletes achieved some fantastic results and we are very proud! Grace Krause (13 years): 1st in 100m, 1st in long jump, 2nd in triple jump, 3rd in 200m. Damian Wells: (17 years): 2nd in hammer throw, 2nd in shot put, 4th in discuss, 24th in 100m. Sophie Bowley (17 years): 2nd in long jump, 4th in triple jump, 9th in 100m, 9th in... 200m. Lana Pike (13 years): 14th in 800m, 22nd in 400m. Damian, Sophie and Grace have qualified for the Australian Junior Nationals in 2021 as well as the NSW Merit Team. 12.01.2022 This Friday we will be celebrating book week with a student dress up. Come to school dressed as your favourite book character! All students in costume need to bring a gold coin donation. Students not in costume must be in school uniform. Don’t forget to join in the activities- games in the library throughout the week and a reading circle on the oval on Friday. Bring a book and spend lunch having a relaxing read or talking to your peers about books. Cold drinks and lolly bags will also be available to buy. All proceeds from the day will go to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

11.01.2022 THS has taken delivery of the Murphy Rebel project from SAAA! Students will be working on completing the aircraft. Mentors, Mike Holloway and Malcom Bennet will be guiding the students along the way. Temora Aviation Musuem has also come on board by sponsoring the student memberships and offering expertise as well. Andrew Bishop and Peter Harper were there to help with the delivery and to inspect the aircraft. Thank you to everyone who has given us support and help...... we will be needing more in the future.
11.01.2022 There’s nothing better than a steak sandwich and chips- Year 8 Food Tech Elective Class. Happy smiles and full bellies all round in Food Technology this week. Students got creative with the presentation of their steak sandwiches! The only part up for debate was whether you cut the sandwich into triangles or squares. Awesome work Year 8!!

09.01.2022 Nominations for Years 8, 9, 10 and 11 Representatives on the 2021 SRC are now open, and will close on Wednesday 2nd December 2020. Mr Hawken held an SRC information session at lunchtime today for interested students and was blown away by the enormous response and quality of the potential candidates. It's not too late to nominate, collect a nomination form from either Miss Taylor or Mr Hawken. "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take". Our students are amazing.

08.01.2022 Today was a wonderful celebration of learning and achievement. Congratulations to our award winners and well done to all students who worked hard throughout 2020. Semester Two reports were also handed out today. Parents/carers- check those school bags! Students who did not receive a copy of the Bundawarra magazine but who would like one will need to pay $5 to the front office on Monday.

07.01.2022 In English, Year 8 students have been learning about bush ballads and considering their relevance in the world today. This week, students had the privilege of hearing from local expert Bill Speirs about how they can put together an effective bush ballad exhibition. They were also able to meet, via Zoom, Queensland bush poet Shelley Hansen whose poetry students studied in class. All students were outstanding role models for THS on both occasions and we are very grateful to Bill and Shelley for giving us their time and expertise.

01.01.2022 THS 2021 School Captains and Senior Prefects announced!! Our new school leaders for 2021 were announced at a special assembly last week. Six talented and enthusiastic young leaders put up their hands to lead our school and are keen to make an impact in their leadership positions. Captains for 2021 are Lucy Roberts and Damian Wells.... And the 2021 Senior Prefects are Joshua Gibson, Freya Easterbrook, Gabrielle Frazier and Katie Holmes. Congratulations to our newly elected leaders. The school community looks forward to working with you to improve our great school.
01.01.2022 2020 SRC President Ellie Cooper and Vice-President Luke Tudulu, joined other student leaders from across the Temora Shire to attend a young leaders forum hosted by Mayor Rick Firman, Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke and local councillors. Students participated in a Q&A session where they had an opportunity to ask questions of our leaders, and then were presented with certificates acknowledging them for all their hard work as leaders during these difficult times. Congratulations Ellie and Luke, you are our leaders of the future.
