23.01.2022 Next drop off and pickup... Griffith late Saturday morning Wagga Tuesday 18th

22.01.2022 An Organisation in Temora, Kurrajong, are making some very popular items and they’re running out of materials, especially for the dog beds. I had a clean out and have just received photos of the items my fabrics were used for. So much more satisfying than them sitting in the cupboard. If you have some fabric to donate (they will happily take ANY fabric), wadding, stuffing, elastic, etc they will be gratefully accepted. You can drop them into Kurrajong in the Paleface Arcade in Temora or to me and I’ll pass it on. 100% of the money goes toward projects and activities that aren’t funded. Keep an eye out for their products on Temora Buy Swap Sell. https://www.kurrajong.com.au/locations/temora.html

22.01.2022 Please take a few minutes to read my preparation instructions before you send a quilt. The main thing people miss is squaring up the backing. It needs to have straight top and sides like the top so it can be loaded on my machine. http://www.temoraquilter.com.au/preparation.html

21.01.2022 Another fun quilt and I love seeing them when they get home! A lovely design called The Avenue by Louise Papas. I’ll be in Wagga tomorrow, please let me know if you have a quilt for me.

20.01.2022 I was so excited to return this one home today!!! A week of hard, but very rewarding work. You girls are keeping me very busy and I am so grateful

20.01.2022 I can’t tell you how much it means you me when I get a call starting with... my friend told me to have you finish my quilt. This lovely quilt belongs to a brand new client, her excitement is infectious! The pattern was inspired by the border fabric and we love that the pattern and thread compliment the quilt without taking over. When I was ready to start stitching, the pattern had some big gaps I didn’t love. It only took a few minutes to make some changes and we were off! Have a look at the last photos, the red is my edit. Quilt pickup and delivery this week, Wagga and Griffith on Friday, please let me know if you have a quilt for me.

20.01.2022 Quick message... I’ll be in Wagga on Thursday.Quick message... I’ll be in Wagga on Thursday.

19.01.2022 Thank you to Tracy for sharing such beautiful photos of your completed quilt. This pattern has been a fast favourite this year. An Allover pattern that has a custom feel! I’ll be in Wagga tomorrow collecting and delivering quilts.

17.01.2022 Some very exciting news for me! We were meant to go to Canada in April for a friends 50th birthday. Sadly, we canceled so I posted the quilt I made her. I posted it on the 22nd of March and it was meant to have a 9 day delivery. I had moments where I thought it wouldn’t turn up and was dreading making it again. IT ARRIVED TODAY!!!!

16.01.2022 You can’t possibly look at this quilt without saying oooh. I love everything about it, apart from that I have to send it home!

15.01.2022 Hi lovely ladies!!! It is getting to the busy time of year. If you have a custom quilt for me, please let me know ASAP. My next Wagga pickup and delivery is Friday

15.01.2022 This beautiful, king sized quilt is hand pieced!!!!!! She has put together such a lovely collection of fabrics and some fussy cutting adds stunning detail! The pattern is Emma Mary by Judy Newman, without the centre appliqué. Pickup in Wagga tomorrow, please let me know if you have a quilt for me.

15.01.2022 I have not tried this before, but am about to bind one of my quilts (show and tell soon) and will give it a go. What about you? Quilt pickup and delivery in Wagga on Friday.

15.01.2022 This quilt is AMAZING and I’m enjoying every stitch! It means so much to me that you trust me with your precious work. My next Wagga pickup and delivery is this Friday! #gammillstatlerstitcher

15.01.2022 It is very exciting to have a mention! This was great fun to quilt. Thanks for letting me know it was online AG.

13.01.2022 I’m very pleased with the new, bright sign I now have to mark the path to my studio. Locally made by Irvine Signs, quick delivery and a great product and price.

13.01.2022 I am really enjoying my latest project, Painted Ladies. A little blanket stitch then blocks that are deceptively fast to make! The weather is calling us to stitch. What are you up to?

13.01.2022 My new friend this week, we are spending many joyful hours together. I’ll be sharing more as I go and will try and find someone tall enough to hold it up for a finished photo. This is the kind of quilt where less is more when it comes to the quilting. It’s called Where We Love Is Home by Anni Downs....... Wagga and Griffith pickup and delivery tomorrow I’ll be in the studio but I have some awesome people in my life who help me with deliveries.

13.01.2022 Next pickup in Wagga is Thursday this week!Next pickup in Wagga is Thursday this week!

13.01.2022 When I give you quilting options, always feel free to come back with your ideas, you’re the boss! This was Kaye’s choice and it’s really lovely. It was delivered to her this morning and it made me laugh to receive this message... It is here. I nearly knocked the postie over to get my hands on it. It is gorgeous. The quilting is gorgeous. You have done an amazing job again. Thank you so very much.

12.01.2022 I know I’ve been quiet, which is very unusual for me! Working away here, grateful for being busy. I love that the quilting software lets me match the pattern up with the piecing even though it’s an allover pattern.

11.01.2022 This was fun! Simple custom quilting to complement this stunning Anni Downs quilt. It was a real honour to have it come from interstate. #annidowns #hatchedandpatched

11.01.2022 And a special shout-out to the men in our lives who patiently wait outside the patchwork shop for us and say nothing when we turn our dining rooms into sewing rooms.

10.01.2022 This one has been fun!!!! I’m seeing so many stash quilts this year! I’ll be closed from lunchtime Wednesday 4/11 and reopening Monday 9th. My custom list is just about full for the year, if you need one done before Christmas, please book it in ASAP.

08.01.2022 A recent Halloween quilt!!!! The burnt orange thread was just perfect! I had to hang it on my clothesline to get some full photos! I will be in Wagga on Friday. Please let me know if you have a quilt for me.

07.01.2022 So it turns out that a beautiful day is just as nice to sew in as a cold and miserable day. I was excited to send this quilt to Victoria to a lovely lady trying to make the best of lockdown. I’ll be in Wagga on Wednesday 2nd if September. Yes! September is only a few days away!!!

07.01.2022 Although I stock cotton and polywool wadding, I am always happy for you to send your quilt with wadding. If you buy it through your local shop, they have the best quality and know the right amount to cut. If you have your own, that’s fine, but please cut it so that it’s at least 4 inches bigger all the way around rather than sending a bolt or roll as I am short on storage space.

06.01.2022 This is a new pattern and already a favourite!!!!! Such a beautiful quilt..... I’ll be closed from lunch time tomorrow, reopening Monday. I’ll be in Wagga on Friday 13th.

06.01.2022 Wagga quilt delivery and pickup tomorrow, please let me know if you have a quilt. Alice is loving winter

06.01.2022 I love love love this quilt and was excited to send it home today. I’ve had lots of people asking how to pronounce my surname. They’ve all said it’s not so bad.... Strife en aid er ... Next Wagga pickup Wednesday or Thursday next week.

05.01.2022 Another busy and fast week in the studio. I’m so grateful for your support. Whether a quilt has been waiting for one year or 30, I love helping complete them and have them put into use. This quilt was fun, my instinct would have been to suggest beige thread, but with a grey backing, we thought this would give a bit of a modern twist and we are both thrilled with the result!

03.01.2022 Oh my goodness, these fabrics!!!! So happy quilting this and the colours!!! Next pickups, Griffith this Friday, Wagga next week. Please let me know if you have a quilt for me.

02.01.2022 Pickup and Delivery! Wagga - tomorrow (Thursday) Griffith - Saturday 11:30am under the planePickup and Delivery! Wagga - tomorrow (Thursday) Griffith - Saturday 11:30am under the plane

01.01.2022 Yet another quilt I want to keep!!! When I photograph your quilts, it’s in light that shows up the quilting. In real life, the quilting isn’t quite so dominant. Pattern selection... if you know what you want, tell me and I’ll happily quilt it! For me, I try and choose thread and a pattern that suits your fabric and piecing. I love that this pattern has the curves to balance the straight lines but also the points to compliment the log cabin. I’ll be in Wagga next Monday
