23.01.2022 Hi to Squash Players, is everyone ok for tomorrow evenings (28th March) Squash matches. Juniors hit off at 5:00pm and seniors start at 6:30pm. Send me a text or telephone if unable to play. Last weeks matches showed heaps of improvement in almost everyone’s fitness, Luke Wilesmith is back in the winning circle with 2 wins following his return from the hamstring problem. Chris Marsh, Luke Jordan & Ashley Wilesmith also won both their matches during the evening.

21.01.2022 The adult squash comp last week also produced close matches and long rallies as players have gained more fitness. Rick McKinnon pipped Luke Wilesmith at the post 47-45, Luke finished with a win for the night against Graeme Trewin 47 to 39. Brett Cornford took advantage of Trewin’s fitness and secured a win 48-41, Neil Turner & Karen Nixon had a great battle in their 50-50 draw. Dennis Wilesmith had to pull a few tricks out of the bag to secure a 50-46 win against Kristy Summers, Kristy regrouped her composure and narrowly beat Karen Nixon 52-50. It’s all on again tonight 11th April starting at 6:30pm

18.01.2022 Reminder to all competition Squash players in Temora. Beginners play from 5:00pm and Adults take the courts from 6:30pm, let me know if unable to play on Wednesday night 18th.

18.01.2022 Adults Wednesday night Squash competition once again produced memorable matches, Neil Turner has made a regular occurrence of playing drawn matches. Last week a 50 all against Karen Nixon & last night a 45 all match against Geoff Moye before defeating Ben Gersbach 64-62. Chris Marsh narrowly defeated Luke Wilesmith 49-45 in a wizzer of a match, Luke had to work extremely hard to defeat Paul Alchin 51-50. Rick McKinnon is still near the top of the tree by winning against Graeme Trewin 54-37 and Chris Wallace 58-45. Dennis Wilesmith was frustrated by losing matches to Ben Gersbach 49-50 and Geoff Moye 60-63. Kristy McKinnon & Tanya Thorpe were warned about having too much fun during their match.

16.01.2022 Saturday afternoon Squash between past and current players, Chris Marsh, Errol Cleverdon, Andrew (Chalkie) Blachut. Andy brought along his wife Nicole, rubbing linament, encouragement and beers. Great time had by all.

15.01.2022 Reminder to all who have not contacted me. Squash is on again tonight, Juniors to be ready to play at 5:00pm and seniors hit off at 6:30 pm. Let me know if you cannot play. The games last week produced surprises, Greg McKinnon and Graeme Trewin returned to the courts to picked up wins by small margins before running out of fitness in their next matches. Logan McKinnon is improving in leap & bounds following his games in the inter town competition.

14.01.2022 Temora Squash Players, a reminder that there is no Squash played tonight. Tomorrow night (Thursday), town Rep players and other players who want to play this week to keep their fitness level up will meet at the courts for games around 6:30pm. Cheers Bob

13.01.2022 Another week has passed and our Squash players will be taking to the courts on Wednesday at 5:00pm for Juniors & a 6:30 pm hit off for the seniors. Players unavailable for this weeks round are requested to notify Bob sooner than later. Last weeks results indicate that all players are getting fitter and are able to enjoy their time on the courts. Best match of the night between Paul Alchin and Luke Wilesmith finished with a 55 all draw.

11.01.2022 This weeks Squash competition will not be played tomorrow evening due to it being Anzac Day. On Sunday, Temora will be hosting Cootamundra in the intertown Squash competition from 09:30am. Intertown players will be meeting for games on Thursday at 6:30pm to fine tune their fitness and strategies. Photos from last week below.

10.01.2022 The beginners Squash competition played last night highlighted the improvement that each player has achieved. Kayla Summers had a win against Flynn Gregory 55 to 50, Baily Purcell has been hitting the ball well since he played in the Inter town competition and was rewarded with a win over Flynn Gregory 52 to 44. Cooper Gersbach defeated Sam McGuigan in a hard fought match 40 to 37 following his loss to Logan McKinnon 23 to 49, Logan also secured the points from Zeke Gersbach 67 to 42.

01.01.2022 Squash is on again tonight, starting at 5.00pm for the beginners and 6:30pm for the seniors. Last weeks beginner matches produced many close games, Jazz McKinnon had a 54 to 54 draw with Ryan Jordan and a 62 to 43 win over brother Logan. Logan just pipped Flynn Gregory 42 - 40, Cooper Gersbach just defeated Kayla Summers 36 to 35.

01.01.2022 The weather has cooled off and it is a great time to play squash, rain will not affect the games. It is also a great aerobic workout, meet great people and have a social interaction after the games. Locals are reminded the Squash comp is on tonight with the juniors starting at 5:00pm and seniors at 6:30pm. A few photos from previous weeks.
