25.01.2022 This summer our International Students could not return home due to COVID-19. Our International Team have been working hard to make sure they have a great holiday, even if it has to be away from their families. Last week we hosted a BBQ at school for students and their homestay families, Peter did an excellent job on the sausages!
25.01.2022 Aidan is one of TC's Design Technology students, who, at 15 years old, already has his own business making and selling high-quality custom knives. While the knife-making stays in his workshop at home, the leatherwork club at TC has helped him learn how to make custom leather sheaths, while DT has taught him how to computer-design his knives and accessories. He has just started his own YouTube channel where he is furthering his skills into video creating and editing. It is amazing to see what students will achieve when they are given opportunities like this to pursue their passions! H.V Student Facebook Administrator
24.01.2022 The TC wellbeing team worked with Wendy at School Focused Youth Services, to secure some funding to offer a free program for our grads on a Wednesday afternoon! Grads were invited to take part in a mindful drumming session run by the amazing Izak! We originally had a yoga session available as well but that didn’t prove to be popular so after week one, we removed that and added in free passes to Aquarena. The program was offered for 3 weeks at 1.45pm until 2.45pm. An afternoon... snack pack was provided alongside a free pass to Aquarena. Students could join in and go in the running to win an amazing hamper, drawn at the end of the session. H.V Student Facebook Administrator
21.01.2022 This year we had over 250 students sit VCE exams in order to get a study score in a VCE subject. These students ranged across all of the Flexible Learning Environment (FLE), including 100 of our Grad Students. Scored VCE is just one of our pathways here @ TC. Congratulations to all involved.

14.01.2022 On 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after four years of continuous warfare. With their armies retreating and close to collapse, German leaders signed an Armistice, bringing to an end the First World War. From the summer of 1918, the five divisions of the Australian Corps had been at the forefront of the allied advance to victory. Beginning with their stunning success at the battle of Hamel in July, they helped to turn the tide of the war at Amiens i...n August, followed by the capture of Mont St Quentin and Pèronne, and the breaching of German defences at the Hindenburg Line in September. By early October the exhausted Australians were withdrawn from battle. They had achieved a fighting reputation out of proportion to their numbers, but victory had come at a heavy cost. They suffered almost 48,000 casualties during 1918, including more than 12,000 dead. In the four years of the war more than 330,000 Australians had served overseas, and more than 60,000 of them had died. The social effects of these losses cast a long shadow over the postwar decades. 10.01.2022 This year our GRADS have missed out on so many milestones. So @TC the only option was for the GRADS to put on their fancy clothes, the ones they would have worn to their formal. Everyone looked fancy and enjoyed the day! H.V Student Facebook Administrator
