24.01.2022 This tail is easy to keep clean when it is moisturised like you would keep your own hair. Dr. Show products use all natural ingredients and Coconut oil especially for the detangler and shine product. A tail with dry ends becomes rough and absorbs stains easily. The cuticle layer of hair will then stand up like when you rub say velvet the wrong way up. By moisturizing and keeping the layer flat it will be shiny and help stop stains being absorbed. Dr.Show shampoo has the same moisturizing ingredients and when used consistently on a tail of this colour seen on "Ghost" there is less need for scrubbing and whitening. Dr. Show shampoo is also gentle for around the face and forelock. It doesn't sting in the eyes. (I tested it out on my self!) And my dogs are so shiny after a wash also.

I was waving my arms trying to get your attention, but it was too late. You see, Mr driver, but did you see me? ME on my best friend? You saw that big inconvenience of a horse on the road, taking up your time, how could you not have seen us? We weren't going out there to inconvenience you, we were out there because we enjoy it, we have fun together. Had, fun together. You couldn't have just waited just a minute until I calmed him down. You see, I knew he gets spooky when you zoom up behind him, who wouldn't? You didn't give us enough time to get out your way. I was begging you to stop, to slow down, but you just kept coming. Was my life that much of an inconvenience? ______________________________ Let this be a message to all drivers, you can't force a horse of the road without endangering the life of you, me or my horse. Give me some time and space and I'll get out your way, and hopefully this won't happen. Pass horses wide and slow, stop if you have to, to allow for a safe pass. (Written by me)

Brendan rode bulls professionally for 18 years and then became inte...rested in training and racing Thoroughbreds, starting horses for a large syndicate, including Group 1 winner Arapaho Miss. Brendan has also competed him in eventing, showjumping and dressage for the past four years. He have been starting and re-educating horses for about 30 years. Brendans philosophy on horse training and handling horses in general is to develop their spirit, not break it; to work with the horse so the horse gives its best willingly. Brendan is looking forwards to showcasing the Australian Brumby in a way that will help change peoples perception from a Brumby being a ‘wild animal’ to that of a friendly, versatile horse that would suit anyone and any discipline chosen. 19.01.2022 Ever heard of Working Equitation? It's a fun way to train your horse and uses dressage as its basis. Its not straight dressage though, so don't be intimidated.... Horses good at cow work and obstacles or games will love it. It's fun for the horse and fun for the rider. The great news is Ovens Valley Classical Riders are incorporating Working Equitation into their annual show program. Working Equitation is currently being adopted by HRCAV and many busy bees are aiming to get this fairly new discipline endorsed to spread the fun and challenge statewide. For anyone who has had a go at this, you will know how fun, interesting and challenging it is! We are aiming to have an enjoyable day out with your horse. We are promoting this fantastic discipline because you not only can do it as just something for fun, you can hone your skills and use it to break up boring training with your horse and perk his interest. At the same time you are secretly improving his dressage and body strength and suppleness whilst learning more and more about each other. So come out for a day of fun. It's not about playing for sheepstations and we welcome everyone with encouragement and a chance to have a laugh and get out there to have a go. Put a smile on your face and your horses! If you don't wear a back protector currently because you find them unconfortable or restricting then the Stubben Back Protectors are for you!! You will find them a perfect fit due to thermo-elastic breathable foams in sandwich construction which under the influence of body heat adjust to the body contours. They are available in 5 sizes in the Adults model and 2 sizes in the... Childs models. 02.01.2022 Idolo Tether Tie, still one of my favourite products. I use one of these in the wash bay, in the float and especially when tying up to the float at clinics and events. If my horse gets a fright he can feel resistance on his lead and depending on the horses level of confidence, I have one or two loops through the pattern holes. Most of my horses do tie solid but you just never know what can happen so I make the loops quite firm with the knowledge that if they really have a flip out the lead rope will give a little. $35 inc postage.
