11.01.2022 Where to begin, He was a true Master of his art form, a Warrior, a Father and the most out spoken, down to earth, tough as nails human being. I have ever meet. He would give you his time and energy, on and off the mat with out hesitation. He made you feel welcome, he made you feel apart of the family and he could always make you laugh. They say, in life there is a beginning and an end. For a lot of students. Sensei John was there at the start of their Judo journey. From th...e time I meet him, he never missed a class and never missed a competition. I would like too think that when you get to the end of your Judo journey. He will be right there with you. You are one of a kind. You will be missed, but not forgotten. Rest in peace. Sensei John Withers.

07.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all our members and their families, hope your all having a great day. I would like to thank everyone for their kind words and support during the closure of the school. It has not gone unnoticed by me that temple dogz school, was more than a place just to workout. It felt like home and a place where training partners became life long friends.... if not like family. But even though its sad to see our school close, only after being open for such a short tim...e and to think of what the future could of been had we stayed open. I feel blessed and grateful that I had an opportunity to do something more with my life, time and energy. Something that had a positive effect on my life and those around me. I know in the past I have been motivated to make decision's, based on money..... Just like most us. That's why we go to work, to make money and support our family or ourselves. My reason for wanting to be part of Temple Dogz, Was the idea that i would be able to share and pass on the benefits of Martial Arts to the community. Maybe I should of been more money hungry, Maybe the school would be still open today.... But I don't think it would of been the same. I'm sure as you sit around the table today, on Christmas. With your loved ones, family and friends... Money is the last thing on your mind.... And if its not.... it should be. Running the school and helping you in your martial arts journey. Will always be an amazing time in my life and one I will never forget. I thank you once again and I wish you all the best. Your Friend. Chris Hoy
04.01.2022 ******** This Sunday 15th at 12pm - X'mas Picnic ******** Please join us for a picnic at Nurragingy Reserve. Turn right upon entry and then follow the signs to the Colebee Centre car park. We will be on the grassy hill opposite the Chinese gardens. (Previously waterfall) We will be providing sausage sizzle. BYO drinks & snacks.... Family and friends welcome. Hope to see you there. 02.01.2022 ******** Announcement ********* Hi all, It is with a very heavy heart that I must advise that we are closing down and will not be re-opening in the New Year. It was a very hard decision to make but with costs continuing to rise and a young family to raise it has been hard to maintain and keep on top of things. ... We sincerely apologies for the late notice but tonight will be the last night we open our doors and with no classes running. Please feel free to discuss membership fees for those who want a refund as we charge in advance, or would like to come in and say your goodbyes or pick up any of your belongings. Our Facebook page will remain active for those who cannot make it tonight and would like to stay in contact. There are a lot of people I would like to thank but most of all to the trainers and staff of Temple Dogz MMA over the years. Special mentions to John Withers who has donated and invested his time to our school and students. Please go see John at his gym Blacktown City Judo Club to continue your Judo training. Luke Boyd our boxing coach who has brought enormous energy into the gym and assisted training and cornering our fighters. Teo Madriaga, David Watson and Joven Balagtas..I thank you and appreciate the assistance and support you have given. Without you guys it would not have been possible. To the fighters and Judo students who have represented us.you have made me proud. To our members.it has been a honor to have been your instructor and I hope you will continue your training. I thank you sincerely for your loyalty and friendship. To my, family thank for your love and support. I would not know where I would be in this life without you.
