24.01.2022 Hi Everyone. I suppose I don't have to explain why, but the doors of the Jewellery Room (the home base for Temple Jewellery Designs) closed today for an unspecified time! I'm going to have a go at creating a website - looks like I have time to do that soon. First, photo taking will happen. I haven't been good at putting up many photos here in the past - too busy in the actual studio - that might be about to change! So watch this space and I'll put little teasers up occasio...nally, then eventually invite you all to a website! By the way, I am still doing commissions and sales etc, just via phone or email and posting. Happy to do free local delivery also. See more

24.01.2022 Im busy with orders! This one was for a mens copper cuff bangle with an oak tree. I kept overthinking it and designing complex things I didnt like...then remembered that less is more. Really happy with the result now and think I will make some similar designs when I have time. Getting better at hand engraving too!

20.01.2022 Hi everyone. I've decided to open the doors to The Jewellery Room this Saturday 9am-1pm. Easing of restrictions, Mother's Day coming up, and a few messages from loyal customers have inspired me get back in there. Of course I will have my sanitiser on hand for people, and just have one/two people in at a time. Luckily we have the nice front decking with bench to sit and wait if needed.

09.01.2022 Thank You to everyone who supported The Jewellery Room (home of Temple) by voting for us in the Business Awards. For a small boutique space in Willunga, it was quite exciting to be called up on stage as one of the 3 finalists in the Peoples Choice Awards, especially considering there were a lot of excellent McLaren Vale located businesses in the running. The actual award went to Blessed Cheese, and I know how popular cheese is! :) Thanks to everyone who contributes to being ...there to make The Jewellery Room great, especially those who are there to meet n greet. Renate Sommer, Belinda Berry, Cherie Foran, Blaise Howard. And in the past students who contributed their time to learn by being there and still have their lovely pieces on display - Brooke Mitchell, Jacinta Paffett, Gloria Lei Yang and Viv Robertson. Also thanks to Vikram for taking out the sign every Saturday and supplying cappucinos. The amazing support of the local community and treasured customers make it a pleasure to be part of. THANKS!!! I have one space left for a pendant making workshop which will run over Sunday 30th Sept and Mon 1st Oct (4 hours per day). Beginners. You will learn to cut and polish silver and I can help you with designing. You will also learn to make beautiful colours on copper using a soldering flame. You know you want to....
