24.01.2022 If ever there was a quote that encapsulated the Temple Society Australia, this is it.

24.01.2022 "At Christmas, when Christ comes, will He find a warm heart? Mark the season of Advent by loving and serving others with God's own love and concern." - Mother Teresa Advent is a religious tradition in preparation for the arrival - or advent - of Jesus Christ on Christmas Day. Historically, it was a quite a serious, somber celebration (including days of fasting, as for Lent) but has become more joyous, including treats such as chocolate-filled Advent calendars! ... Join us for our traditional German Advent celebration beginning in Bentleigh on Sunday 3rd December and continuing in Bayswater on Thursday 7th December. ALL ARE WELCOME to celebrate with candles, stories, poems and communal carol singing.

16.01.2022 In our latest newsletter, Elder Christa Lingham's wrote about a very Templer attribute - living your faith - and reflected on its importance in building strong communities. "The founding members [of the Temple Society] were a diverse group with many differences in their actual beliefs and practice of their faith, but what pulled them together was the ability to work towards something greater than themselves. The Temple Society was always an active Christian group... We are [...now] encouraged to have an active expression of our beliefs and to demonstrate this..." Makes you think, right? Faith isn't just a Sunday-thing. How does your faith - no matter how you define it - play out in your life throughout the week? (You can also read Christa's reflection here: www.templesociety.org.au/pdf/August2017TT_Web.pdf)
