25.01.2022 We have another 5 dozen plump @pambulaoysterco oysters hitting the menu tomorrow night. We’ll shuck them to order and bring them to your door . Our menu is up on our website, and we’re taking orders now . On a side note, support from suppliers and the general public has been pretty heartwarming. These have been (and continue to be) very tough times, both financially for the business, and emotionally for myself and some of the awesome people that work here. The staff here a...re like family... we’re all trying to take care of each other. For everyone who’s offered support or words of encouragement , thank you. It’s made a world of difference, for myself and the Temporada family. And for those who’ve offered us gifts of amazing produce grown in Canberra, we’re looking forward to making something special out of them... My hope is that the hospitality industry will come out of this stronger, and more importantly wiser than before. But there’s still a way to go yet.. Temporada xx See more

15.01.2022 The Side Project comes to an end! We had a blast at Intra. We sold every possible seat for the two weeks which was unthinkable when we were putting this concept together. The support we received was amazing. We would firstly like to thank the legends at Intra for allowing us to use their venue. Such a great space, in a really great location. And they make pretty nice coffee Big thanks to all of the guests that came along. A special thanks goes to our first sitting last Sat...urday who were so accepting of being evacuated (along with us) due to a fire alarm in the building. Whilst we congregated outside in the cold, copping the accusatory glares of the building’s residents, I only hoped that the jaffle someone just burnt in their apartment was going to be awesome. And a big cheers to the Temporada team. They carted all of the food/wine/equipment up and down Constitution Avenue for two weeks without a word of complaint, and in the process created a unique event that was a lot of fun. Running oysters and prawns and quails and steaks in and out of the café to cook on the bbq was interesting and will be missed! Will we roll this concept out again? We enjoyed it so much that we just might We’re closed for the next two weeks whilst the front of the shop is finished up, so we’ll be taking a break until then and giving Netflix a good run. 12.01.2022 We’re back at it in our normal Moore St digs from this week. We had a great time at Intra in Campbell, and after a two week break we’re ready to get going again. Our hours are going to remain the same (Tues-Fri from 3pm, Sat from 5:30pm) as is our menu offering (set menus $70/$90) until mid-October when we’ll reopen for lunches with an a la carte menu. 08.01.2022 NEWS! Today we’re excited to launch a new Side Project for our restaurant Tempo Catering. If 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that we need to find more ways to engage with our customers. We love having you in our place, but if you have an event coming up, we will bring the Temporada experience to you. Think the same level of food and service you would expect at the restaurant, only at your home, your office, or any other event. We’re not about a standard set menu for all e...vents we’re treating this like we do the restaurant, with changing seasonal menus. We have options for sit down lunches or dinners, cocktail parties, Xmas parties, even weddings if you’re interested! We’re here to work with you on your event tell us what you’re looking for, and our team will work on it with you. 08.01.2022 NEWS! We will be reopening for dining-in next Friday and Saturday night (for 10 lucky guests)! This will be a slightly different Temporada experience we will only be serving a set menu (choice of 2 versions) with a more concise drinks list. We’re excited we finally get to light the wood grill for the first time since the 21st March, we can try out new cocktails, and generally having guests in the dining room will be amazing. It will be an intimate (yet socially distant) ...affair.. However most things won’t change our level of service and quality of food will remain the same. Bookings for this version of Temporada are via phone and email only. Give us a holler and we’ll slot you in. We’ll still be taking care of your takeaway and delivery needs all week as well... 07.01.2022 UPDATE!! (long message, apologies everyone) Dinners for the next few weeks we’ll be open for dinner service from Tuesday to Saturday. We’ll still be offering two set menus - $70 or $90, with two sittings on Friday and Saturday evenings. The drinks list will continue to be pretty tight (we’re enjoying the challenge of maintaining a small list!), and the dishes on the menus will continue to change (mid service on most nights!). Lunches we’re keeping the powder dry on this o...ne for the time being. More to come on this later Bookings all bookings will need to be made online www.temporada.com.au. Takeaway we’ll continue to offer our takeaway menu for you hungry souls who can’t make it in. Delivery unfortunately we are going to have to put an end to doing our own deliveries. Those dishes are now piling up when our kitchenhand has to disappear every hour for a delivery. 04.01.2022 TAKEAWAY UPDATE! Sadly, for all the takeaway fans out there we’ve decided to pull the plug on our takeaway menu. The people have spoken - and they want to dine in restaurants now, not take their food home - which is GREAT!!! We had a good run - organised pickup for a couple of downsized weddings, anniversaries, drop offs around town for Mother’s Day. We had to get creative with our menu - what will work best sitting in a takeaway container? What will it look like when the cu...stomer opens it in 20 mins? Will it melt? Thank you to everyone who ordered from us - there were a few ordering weekly - you kept the restaurant (and our sanity) afloat. 02.01.2022 Introducing... The Side Project by Temporada, our ‘Temporary Relocation Dinners’. Due to the building we’re in getting a mad facelift, we’re packing up and taking the show to Intra in Campbell for 10 nights over two weeks in August. They’ll be pretty intimate dinners - so space is limited. $75, four courses. $55 matched wine, or by glass or btl. All international wines, with out of the ordinary varietals.... What’ll we be cooking? You’ll have to come and find out.. but there’s a fair bet that we’ll be braving the cold and cooking on a bbq outside for parts of the menu. 01.01.2022 Online bookings are back up and running - jump onto our website to book. Friday night is sold out but we have a few spaces left for Saturday. We’re asking for credit card details to secure every booking from here on out. Nothing is charged - just a pre-authorisation in case you don’t turn up. One of the biggest killers for any restaurant is no-shows - it really doesn’t take much to call and let us know you’re not coming. An empty table is lost revenue and lord knows the one thing restaurants need right now is revenue. We hope everyone understands, we feel like it’s the only way forward for our industry.
