23.01.2022 WHAT DOES ART HAVE TO DO WITH WELLBEING?? EXCITING NEWS - READ TO THE END! Last week I was lucky enough to visit the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery to see the breathtaking David Keeling exhibition.... I like art. And I like visiting galleries and museums. In fact I've had some pretty special moments in them. But I'm not as keen as some of my friends who are happy to spend days upon days going from art gallery to art gallery. So, I was unprepared for the beauty, depth and sensory experience of David Keeling's paintings. Landscapes that juxtapose * wildness with formality * beauty with severity * connection with separation * emptiness with life They really touch into and connect with deep parts of us, our beauty, our wildness, our connection, our isolation, our need for control ... all the parts of us that make us human. So, stay tuned for an exciting new workshop that I will be running at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery on Saturday morning 13 February - SAVE THE DATE! #MuseumMomentofZen #artinspiration #connection

17.01.2022 Wonderful article on resilience as a set of relational systems. "Resilience is not about me, it is about us". Thank you Ty Francis PhD and Meus - Systemic Transformation.

13.01.2022 Permission to rest... I'm taking inspiration from this little guy (who is now a few years older but still as sweet ). He finds the cosiest spot in the sun and snoozes as he pleases. He is not allowed on the couch but this morning, it was the only spot with a patch of sun, so there he was.... taking an illegal nap! He doesn't feel the need to do something instead of resting, so I'm taking some inspiration from this guy this week.... I was also inspired by the podcast on sleep from The Mind Full Medic Podcast (see link in comments). How do you recharge and take opportunities to rest? #doctorwellbeing #healthcareworkers #frontlineworkers #rest #teacherwellbeing

08.01.2022 Did you know that Tempo is registered with a number of Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers? EAPs are counselling services provided by employers to employees to support wellbeing in the workplace. You can access EAP support funded by your workplace for both work-related or personal issues. Access to EAP services differ amongst employers, but workplaces often have an arrangement with a particular EAP service provider. However, some workplaces allow employees to select t...heir own support up to a certain amount of money, and for a certain amount of sessions. The good news is that Tempo is registered with a number of providers - see below, talk to your workplace or contact Minky (see below) to find out more. #eap #workplacementalhealth #doctorwellbeing #healthcareworkers #teacherwellbeing #frontlineworkers
