23.01.2022 Tenambit Morpeth Cricket Club shared their ideas via Social Pinpoint for My Place Grants on how they would like to celebrate by showing their appreciation to th...e Australian and Indian Community with a multicultural cricket day at Beryl Humble Oval. The day would include food, kids activities and a T20 cricket match between the players to celebrate the two cultures coming together as a community. 13.01.2022 Josh's Captains Report 5th Grade Gold v Thornton Saturday 31/10/20 at Beryl Humble After winning the toss i decided to have a bat and see if we could improve from last weeks game in the wet. Last weeks player of the week Daniel Oswald and Steve Johns opened the batting and put on 18 before Daniel fell for 6. Rocky Singh came out nest who put on a great knock to retire not out on 50. along the way we lost a few more wickets with Colin Way (1), Murray Woodfield (12), young Hud...son Gurr (0) while Colin Woodfield 14 no and Thomas Whale 1 no finished out the 35 overs to be 5/112. When we went out to bowl we got off to a great start with Brad Clayton taking a wicket on the second ball of the first over with a great catch from Rocky in the slips. Daniel Oswald came on and bowled a great spell taking some great wickets finished his 6 overs with figures of 3/26. Unfortunately not holding onto catches cost us a few wickets with Thornton chasing the runs down in the 20th over to finish 5/118. The other wicket taker was captain Josh with 1/1 off his only over. It was great to have some support from other teams who were washed out to come and support us and to Adam who came out to help umpire at square leg. Chin up boys, we cant win them all but well done and bring on next week (hopefully no more rain) GO BULLS!!!

03.01.2022 Flashback Friday This weeks inaugural Flashback Friday player is club stalwart and recently awarded life member David McKinnon (Macca). Macca started with the Bulls in 1995, after Matthew Gurr asked him to switch clubs. Starting in 2nd grade under the captaincy of Blade Shearer he was quickly known as the opening batsman that was able to guide the balls through slips and gully regularly for 4. He played quite a few innings with his opening mate Matthew Gurr (Gurry) and the...y quickly became known as the itchy and scratchy show. It’s still not clear who was who.. Macca has served as a player, captain and has held multiple committee member roles throughout the years with TMCC. Recently he has also been known as McRichie and is the Bulls Social Media Guru or Wizard in his role as Vice President. 03.01.2022 The Young Bulls representing Hunter Valley. The Lismore carnival was cancelled due to COVID but the Newcastle association put on 4 fantastic days of cricket in a combined U/12 & U/13 mini carnival. The carnival finished yesterday and they took on U/12 & U/13 teams from Hunter Valley, Lake Macquarie & Newcastle. In the T20’s they beat Newcastle U/12’s by 1 run and lost to Lake Macquarie U/12’s in a Super Over. Thank you to everyone for supporting the junior Rep players.

02.01.2022 TMCC invites you to support our clubs Pink Stumps Day at the River Royal Inn, Morpeth 13th February, so let’s get behind this great event and show our support for the McGrath Foundation. Ladies & friends are invited to join us at The River Royal Inn at 2pm. Tickets are $30 which includes a glass of bubbles on arrival, finger food, lucky door prize and entertainment. 01.01.2022 Hi Bulls To ensure everyone is aware of the TM Weekly Schedule, (especially our new Bulls players) please refer to the attached weekly schedule: Monday Dave will request via players messenger, which senior players are available for the upcoming weekend games. Please comment with ‘in’ or ‘out’.... Tuesday I’ll provide the usual Newsletter, which includes a Celebrity of the Week segment. Josh will ensure all weekend banking is complete. Wednesday I’ll produce the Senior and Junior Players of the Week. The best performances are selected by the Executive Committee. They will both receive free game fees for the following game. (Note you can only win it once per season). Thursday Dave will provide the senior teams via players messenger. This usually occurs around 8pm but can sometimes be delayed. Friday I’ll produce Flashback Friday. This is a new segment and will be trialled this season. It will provide a segment on a former Bulls player or current long-term player. If you have old photo’s please message me for inclusion. Curating will be completed by Rowdy, Ryan and Dave. Raffles at the Royal will be run by the Senior Captains of each team, which is rotated weekly. Saturday Game Day for Juniors and Seniors. Sue will coordinate the canteen. Sunday Facebook Game reports will be completed by Senior Captain. Weekend money from games is to be provided to the Golf Club prior to 6PM for Collection by Josh. MyCricket scores are to be completed by 12pm by team captains. Regards Macca

David (Macca) has been with us since 1995 as a player, captain and has held multiple committee member roles throughout the years with TMCC! He’s hard work behind the scenes on our Social Media are a credit to himself & the Bulls to help where we are today as a great community club!... Well Deserved and Congratulations Dave!
