24.01.2022 Dying Queer Online Panel: September 19th We are staunch supporters and allies of the #LGBTIQ community, and to that end were holding an online panel called Dy...ing Queer. This online event will bring together queer experts from the deathspace, legal arena, and queer support and health areas, and advocates and activists who have been fighting the good fight for decades. The aim is to address the issues faced by the queer and gender diverse community (which is diverse, so necessarily the issues will also be broad), and how we as a culture and industry and address and improve things for queer people. The panel is still being finalised, but we have Tara Mackay (master embalmer and proud queer woman), and Sally Goldner (transgender advocate and elder), with more panellists to be announced shortly.
