15.01.2022 WOW! What an amazing event by all involved for the Pink and Teal celebrations to raise awareness for breast and ovarian cancer. Was great to see families with all their little ones playing at the mobile playgroup run by Pikka-Pikkakari Playgroup. Such a great event, well done to Deb Cain and her team at Marlungku-kari who had a big part in organising such a wonderful event.

09.01.2022 Take a look at our Connected Beginnings flyer. If you need any help with enrolling your little one into any early learning services Ingrid and Jemma are always happy to help. This term we are visiting families with 3 and 4 year olds to make sure they are ready for Preschool next year. We are really happy to take you to visit the services so you can check out the fun things your children can do and learn.



09.01.2022 On the 11th of September Connected Beginnings had the pleasure of being involved in a womens expo organised by Anyinginyi Health Corporation. CB set up a stall with a lovely hair brush and lip balm provided for all the beautiful women who entered on the day! (The bags were a huge success) Ingrid and Barb spoke to all the visitors and high school students about the importance on women's health and reflection on everyday life to promote work life balance and wellbeing. Thank you to Anyinginyi for organising this beautiful event.

09.01.2022 Last Friday, we celebrated our very own AMAZING Deborah Hartman's birthday (30th ish ). Deborah Hartman is the BACKBONE of our Connected Beginnings backbone team. Deborah is not only a perfect boss, wonderful mentor, exceptionally supportive leader; she is also a champion of a human being . Thank you so much for what you do for us every day and THANK YOU for being you DEBORAH HARTMAN!!!

09.01.2022 Local photographer Telita Braun is holding a free event capturing the beautiful faces of our very own Barkly Bubs. The event is for 0-6 year old children held at the CWA hall from 9am until 1pm on 29th of August.

07.01.2022 Community engagement added to it's best. On the 17th of August Ingrid and Hassan visited Mulga to introduce the Walrpiri book. The Connected Beginnings are working closely with local communities and other service providers towards creating local Aboriginal language books (various language groups) for the next generation to carry on learning their language and culture.

06.01.2022 This Friday Anyinginyi are hosting a women's day expo at the Civic Hall. Come and join in and learn more about women's health! Connected Beginnings will be there supporting FaFT who will have heaps of activities to keep the little ones happy. If you see us come and have a chat! We are looking forward to a great event, see you all there!

05.01.2022 An excellent community engagement opportunity with the respected elders of the community on Thursday 3rd of December 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Marlungukari Child and Family centre. 01.01.2022 Marlungku-Kari Child & Family Centre along with many services kind donations are holding a family fun day Friday 23rd of October. there will be heaps of prizes to be raffled off on the day with a heap of fun activities to be involved with. For the two major prizes there will be raffle tickets sold for $2 each. If you would like to purchase any tickets please come into Connected Beginnings office (99 Paterson Street, Barkly House) to purchase some! 01.01.2022 Today we held a pre school information session for families with children turning 4 who will be ready to attend school next year! We had a great turn out and we got a lot of good ideas from the families about what will help them get their little one to school! We look forward to seeing all these future leaders at pre school next year.
