25.01.2022 As you guys all know, if you have been following my posts you will know Casey and her back story already! Casey is one of my beautiful massage clients and I have been working with her over the past month or so, not only with massage but with getting her in training to be an Equine therapy horse!! With each week, Casey progresses more and softens in the body, allowing her to flow as a whole when being ridden.... It’s been an amazing opportunity to compare the way her muscles felt before the massage and how she felt when being ridden VS how much better, free flowing and smooth she feels now that she is undergoing treatments both just from assessing her body and whilst riding! It’s been amazing to watch this mare go from being clunky, stiff, having leathery uncirculated skin and loosing hair to a now more shiny, soft, free flowing and relaxed sweet heart!! Just take a look at her! Goes to show the power of Myofunctional therapy and what a little tender loving care can achieve!! Set aside time to really listen to what your horse is trying to tell you. 24.01.2022 A picture speaks a thousand words. But I don’t need this photograph to feel this moment in my heart forever. Face to face. Eye to eye. Heart to heart.... We have always sunk our faces, closed our eyes and breathed like this together. Like the life force inside you, somehow has a direct line to mine. Connected, the same and infinite. My eyes are closed, But I have never seen the world more clearly. You remind me of what it is to be all instinct, intuition and love. You remind me of who I am and who I was always meant to be before the world tried to shape and harden me. You remind me of my purpose. You remind me to stay connected to this true self. You remind me to be a person of all passion, fire and depth. To wear my heart on my sleeve and never let the world make me feel trapped. Not to let pain make me hate. To have strength and still be graceful. To be a woman of fierce confidence yet still remain humble. To love myself without the need for validation. To love others without conditions or control. Im pleased to announce that my mobile myofunctional services with be starting back up again on Saturdays through to Sunday’s for only $50 per massage.... I will be massaging in unaffected suburbs only and following social distancing rules at all times. 03.01.2022 First treatment started on Grumpy Mr. Bobby boy today! It’s always a pleasure working with this little character!! Showing both right hand side (top pic) and left hand side (bottom pic). I will update you guys on how he is going and explain in depth what was found and achieved after all 3 treatments!... But first let me give you a little bit of a back story on Bob! Bob is 26 years old and used for lessons and equine therapy! He has always been a reliable, trustworthy, quirky little man! With his old age Bob also does suffer from some arthritis. During his first treatment today I noticed Bob has a lot of hypertrophy (enlargement of cells) in the neck and shoulder region and seems quite dead in the hind region, feeling stiff, tight and having skin like cardboard. This shows a lack of proper lymphatic and blood flow (circulation) in the hind region. Combining his lack of blood and lymphatic flow as well as stiffness and lack of pliability in the hind end paired with the enlargement of cells and dense, tight muscles in the front end of his body it is a strong indicator that Bob is very front heavy and relying on his front end to do most of the work, resulting in him having a dead back end. My aim and goal for Bob is that I can loosen up his muscles and stimulate lymphatic flow and blood flow (circulation) all around the body so we can get his body working and flowing together as a whole!
