25.01.2022 I love some of the faces i capture when trying to get a photo to put up. Miss Lyla is a character, she just really wants her after pamper treat she gives up eventually and gives me a "nice" photo.

25.01.2022 Two hours spent this morning on this beautiful white swiss shepherd boy Yeti

25.01.2022 I totally missed 200 likers as i had about 10 new people in the one day so just zoomed right past it. I have now reached 250 likers! So I would like to say I appreciate everyones support. By buying my home made treats and tug toys, getting your dogs groomed by me and allowing me to pass on my knowledge in training, you are supporting a young family, our bills (namely the $1300 in vet bills for our boy Po this past 2 months) and our kennels dreams for future generations. So THANK YOU ALL from the bottom of my heart.

25.01.2022 Day full of puppy cuddles! Hugo, Willow, Baron and Apollo Apollo is still being desensitized to grooming so he just came for a pedicure today and did amazing. ... Hugo is smashing the grooming and showing his siblings up, plus he has a huge amount of fun around the yard while waiting for his turn.

24.01.2022 This big bundle of treats is being picked up today for one special pup. Jessica messaged me yesterday to place her order and stated, "I'm looking for something natural, as my dog has a sensitive belly. And I browsed your page, and seeing the absolute passion you have for dogs, I'm sure I'm in safe hands" I make all my treats myself from locally sourced ingredients, absolutely nothing is brought in already dried. So you are all in safe hands. This morning I read a post s...hared by a fellow husky breeder and this is just another reason to get your treats from a local! Important notice to all pet owners The Australian Veterinary Association has issued a warning to vet clinics and pet owners alike advising that they are documenting at least one case a week of Fanconi-like syndrome, associated with the feeding of commercial dried treats originating from Asia. The toxin causing this disease has yet to be identified. Fanconi-like disease affects the kidneys. Dogs may exhibit clinical signs including increased thirst, increased urination, vomiting and loss of appetite. In addition, they may show an elevation in some of their liver enzymes and lower than normal phosphate levels. However, the hallmark of this syndrome is glucose in their urine, but no elevated glucose levels in their blood. Whilst many cases recover simply by withdrawing the treats, some cases have been associated with severe kidney failure and death. If you are at all concerned about your pets, please contact the clinic. We can run a urine test to screen for the syndrome and perform further diagnostics if needed. We strongly urge you all to please check the country of origin of any treats that you feed your pets. Please use treats made in Australia from 100% Australian produce or homemade ones. If you cannot identify the country of origin, we advise erring on the side of caution and discarding those treats. -Tuggerah Veterinary Clinic

24.01.2022 It came to my attention last night that the chick in marketing has clearly not been confirming the changes made by the girl in charge of packaging. Some weights listed on photos do not match up to those contained within the bags. The bags were labelled correctly, however i must apologise for the confusion. Marketing is aware of the stuff up and will be rectifying the situation shortly. The lady in design has been busy creating our gorgeous new product labels and they have ...now rolled out ready for the markets in Townsville. Ps it's me, I'm the chick in marketing, I'm also the girl in charge of packaging and oh yeah I'm definitely the awesome lady in design

22.01.2022 this reminds me of so many of the dogs I groom! Mr Chilli yesterday wouldn't stop yawning, he clearly had such a big day of sleeping!

22.01.2022 We have nearly reached our holiday destination and thanks to Micheal's directions late last night we ended up on a 90km stretch of unsealed road. Thankfully we have a 4WD but the car, trailer and poor sibes are covered in red dust Glad I didn't have time to groom them before leaving and they will be getting a bath very soon but a creek swim will be in order first! Of course being unsealed rocks were inevitable and sadly one got caught in the top seam of the boot and whe...n mick went to open it, it jammed and has lifted the metal my poor car. As if that weren't enough everything comes in threes and whilst we were on a roll with late night/early morning driving the 24/7 fuel station was broken and we had to hang out in the next town for over an hour for a service station to open. Hopefully that will be all the drama for this trip See more

21.01.2022 Poor Leo, I took him out for show training tonight for use by an up and coming new junior handler and young shadow decided to take him for a spin too He's such a good sport.

21.01.2022 What a day! Cooper, Mika and Stormy, all from different families, had their desheds today and each left a massive amount of hair around the place.

20.01.2022 Stormy really is a different dog compared to his first groom. He is growing coat as quickly as he is losing it!

20.01.2022 Tiffany didn't want her photo taken today

20.01.2022 Last call for treat orders! Must be collected by thursday morning if paying cash or card, collection for bank transfers made at time of order can be collected as late as midday friday. Limited availability of some treats so get in quick! I will be away until 12th of October and will have to rebuild my stock when i return.

20.01.2022 This dog truely was rescued, it's amazing to see someone who cares so much about the health and well-being of an animal. Some people love their dogs too much and treat or over feed them and without regular exercise they can quickly pack on the weight. Being strict is key when dieting your dogs. Taya is on a diet at the moment after being fed more due to the possibility of pregnancy and not being exercised like she normally would as I was busy working so didn't regularly walk and couldn't even play her usual backyard games (because she's a roughnut and would hurt said possible babies). Now we know for sure there's no bubbas and being able to walk the river path she's slowly losing the excess gained. Nanny just needs to stop giving her treats

19.01.2022 Zues, Saori and Zafiro

18.01.2022 Koby, Cooper & Gabby

17.01.2022 Note: please click on the photo to view times. Due to me heading up north again in a couple weeks spaces are limited and filling fast for September. I have tried to maximize my availability as much as possible to allow all clients to get in before I go away. Time slots are for 1 dog only so if booking more than 1 it will cancel out two appointment times as I still need to ensure I'm able to cope with the workload. I can work with you on times this is just to give an idea ...of what I have to work with. I hope to see you all before I go away and will be returning earlier than planned so all my regular clients can take a breath and know your dogs won't be dirty and shedding all over your house for long ;) See more

17.01.2022 Theodore, Miska & DJ

17.01.2022 Day of Malamutes! Alaska visited for her first time this morning and this afternoon i had the beautifully coloured Chilli boy, gotta love that sunset glow

16.01.2022 Bandit was being a bit of a terror hanging off me today but how can you be mad when he gives you a good photo first go

16.01.2022 Apollo is such a cutie and a koala bear who wouldn't let go of my arm this evening He couldn't wait to see me, running as fast as he could to the gate.

15.01.2022 With the busiest time of the year headed our way I have to learn to say no I hate to do this as I've built a reputation of being available whenever someone needs me. Due to a few new little feet making their way into the world soon I will only be trading for 2 weeks of December as I will be flying north for one last trip for the year. Therefore I am not accepting new clients for next month as I only just have enough time for the regulars that have scheduled plus a few spac...es available should existing clients wish to book in (weekdays only) You all know my dogs come before anyone else and with Covid the unpredictability of dog shows is very annoying, I am only getting about a months notice on dates of shows and because of this I have decided that in the New Year weekend appointments will only be scheduled for 3 weeks in advance no more unless you understand that should a show come up they will be postponed. I hate moving clients around as I know it is an inconvenience and I have already done this for next month when a show popped up and now another has been scheduled for the weekend date I moved those clients to I am going to have to push through and groom my own dogs days prior to the show and run them that evening possibly in pain as this job does take it out of me. I hope you can all understand that this has not been an easy decision to make. I do have a couple spaces left for this month and am happy to accept new and existing clients for these. See more

14.01.2022 Please if you are unwell let me know prior to your appointment, masks are advised to be worn and I wear one. Frequently touched surfaces are disinfected and sanitised before and after each groom for your safety. I have hand sanitizer always available for your use.

13.01.2022 Little bi-eyed Bud He came in for a nail trim and needs a bit of desensitization before we will get them fully under control but they look so much better after taking off what i could without stressing him out too much more.

13.01.2022 Christmas Gift Boxes Don't forget to have something for your pups under the tree. Only $50 for a box full of goodies that they are sure to love. ... Limited availability so order yours now to avoid missing out!

13.01.2022 Miss Taya will chew on her Cow Hooves for weeks they are such a long lasting treat, the 3 (one per dog but they all share) around my house at the moment were given to them on wednesday and they've barely taken anything off them and they chew on them from morning to night. At just $2.50 each or 10 for $20 why not grab your furkids some?!

12.01.2022 The 3 amigos came in for a tidy today. Soari, Zafiro and Zues Surprisingly I got them all done in 3 hours!

11.01.2022 Sweet Miss Eddie, much better behaved for her groom this time, as they say practice makes perfect!

11.01.2022 Handsome Snow First groom with me as he was blowing coat bad and has recently been rescued by his new family. Handled the whole experience like a pro with lots of love and snuggles from his mum during nail time, which worked even better than treats. Just goes to show all a dog wants is a loving family!

10.01.2022 Up at the crack of dawn after a horrible nights sleep to go to a dog show... YES I'M SO EXCITED! After 6 months without showing getting back in the ring today is going to be awesome. I still have 2 dogs to groom this afternoon though, I can do this, I'm fine 25 done in the past week, 3 to go before i knock off for 4 weeks

10.01.2022 Today Theodore and Lexy had their grooms, both so beautiful

07.01.2022 Early morning groom for Mr Leo

06.01.2022 Oh my heart! This is Rubix aka Biccy, he recently snuck his way into our family after mick's aunt went to go see the litter for her sister (who brought his brother), Biccy, being the lovable little puppy that he is, just couldn't be resisted. He had his first big boy bath today and took it all in his stride, falling asleep during the feet trim and even allowing me to completely blow dry his face and ears a groomers dream puppy!

06.01.2022 Now that her birthday is over I can share with you all the personalized gift box made for Dakota's (aka Koda) 3rd birthday. Her mum gave me a budget and special requests that it had a toy and some hard chews and due to family allergies a limit of fish products. This was the end result and she seems super happy with her birthday present.

06.01.2022 Katara and Keanu Last groom (besides Leo and Nova for tomorrows dog show) before I head north one last time this year to welcome our new Riversrun Siberian Husky babies into the world.

05.01.2022 Today saw Cooper, Rosie, Major & Candy, 2 clips, a standard groom and a pedicure.

04.01.2022 Kaiba had his first professional groom today. At 10 months old this boy wanted to tell me everything he has done in his life so far It was great to see his dad using clicker training to reward him for good behaviour eg keeping quiet and still. Clicker training is a great tool when done right and Kaiba's dad is doing an excellent job!

03.01.2022 Mika is such a character. Just love this loud mouth.

03.01.2022 Miss Farrah came for a much needed deshed today, this darling girl hasn't been to a groomer since I groomed her when her family first moved to this state nearly 2 years ago. Her mum now realises the importance of coat maintenance after seeing how red her skin was underneath all that matted coat. Although brushing at home and giving a quick bath is good and required, nothing compares to seeing a groomer regularly, especially one that knows what they are doing with a double coated breed.

02.01.2022 Chilli needed to get a bit more coat out after his groom last week so today we tackled it. Even after 2 hours last week he still had so much left to go but he was getting tired and I wasn't going to push him more than i already had. It is so important to come back when I recommend or as close to it as possible so that next visit it isn't worse than we started with.

02.01.2022 Another massive day, with Baron, Willow, Hugo, Chilli, Lila and Liam. I'm off to a dog show tomorrow I not only have the pleasure of grooming Liam but being his handler also at the Border Collie Speciality. The last time i was on the end of this stunning dogs lead we took home runner up best in show all breeds in Mackay and I am aiming high for tomorrow

01.01.2022 Cute little Apollo, just a pedicure today but his next visit will be another clip off as its getting too hot and we didn't go too short last time. This wiggle worm always makes me giggle

01.01.2022 Benji came for his first groom with me today and it won't be the last I see of this handsome boy.
