24.01.2022 In January the global tennis community came together to raise more than $6 million as part of Tennis Australia’s Aces for Bushfire Relief initiative. The funds... raised will be used to help rebuild vital infrastructure in some of the areas worst affected by the bushfires, as well as deliver programs to support families and build resilience in kids. On December 2 we will be hosting a special community event in Cobargo NSW, where the region was heavily affected by the bushfires. 19.01.2022 2020 Volunteer Achievement Award | nominations open The volunteer often goes unrewarded for the many hours of work they contribute to tennis. This award honours the volunteers within tennis who foster relationships within and between their club and the community, and recognises the contribution they make to the sport, specifically in the area of delivering more active players. We are delighted to announce that this award will be presented by our partners at ANZ Australia.... ANZ are kindly donating a prize of $5000 to go directly to the winners tennis club. The club can use these funds for upgrades which may include; clubhouse upgrades, maintenance, a new BBQ, team uniforms, new signage, equipment and much more. We know these funds will go a long way, and make a huge difference to the club! 03.01.2022 Mother Teresa School, Harrison has claimed the title at the Todd Woodbridge Cup, with the finals held Friday 20 November at the Canberra Tennis Centre in Lyneham Assistant Principal, Craig Hart said the competition was a great experience for the students, It was a great thrill for our students to win this year’s Todd Woodbridge Cup. Having been runners up last year it was a great effort to go one better in 2020. Our kids were very excited just to be participating in an organised sporting event, as many have been cancelled due to COVID-19 this year.
