19.01.2022 Tennis Palmerston will hosting the next Singles UTR event this weekend. The Saturday session will be a afternoon/twilight event with the junior and adult divisions (Minimum requirment, Hard Ball) kicking off @ 12pm. The format will be Best of 2 + Match tiebreak with normal deuce. Sunday matches will start from 8am and will be played through until all matches are complete. Our canteen will be running through-out the day with a range of food and drinks available, such as bacon ...& egg rolls, toasties, fried rice, fruit, ice-creams, coffee etc. The cost of the tournament will be $40, which can be payed on the day. Entries close 11pm this Wednesday. Even if you won't be playing come on down over the weekend and show your support to our great club and help cheer on our Palmy Army! If any parents are keen to volunteer their time over the weekend to make this event as smooth as possible, please get in contact with me ASAP on 0427 999 452. 05.01.2022 CLUB SUPER CHALLENGE Keep your calendar free for the Club Super Challenge as it is back again this year! The challenge is for all ability levels right through from red ball to competitive adults. CLUB SUPER CHALLENGE BUILD UP On the 20th of November Tennis Palmerston WILL NOT be running beginner matchplay. Instead we will be encouraging all our beginner matchplay players to make their way to TEMS for the build up challenge. This is a great opportunity for players to ...gain understanding of how the club super challenge will run the following weekend. I have hired the big inflatable again this year which we all had a blast on last year. Tennis Palmerston will put on a sausage sizzle for this event, however everyone is encouraged to bring a small plate of nibbles.
