15.01.2022 Tomorrow I will as I do every year quietly remember and be thankful for those who went to war to ensure our freedom. My two grandfathers and an uncle went to war and luckily came back alive but with the physical and mental scars that come with war. They remembered their mates quietly and so I do the same.

10.01.2022 WHY ARE THE AUCKLAND WARRIORS AND THE NRL ALLOWED TO IGNORE SOCIAL DISTANCING I sit in my business being a caravan park in Tenterfield which has been forced to close. I have followed the advice of the government etc as I want to see this current pandemic ended as soon as possible. Now the National Cabinet has decided to allow the Auckland Warriors to enter Australia so that the NRL competition can be restarted.... It seems that the Government is happy to bow to the pressure applied by the NRL even though players have ignored the social distancing rules. The Government seems to be more worried about the NRL financial position than coronavirus impacts on ordinary citizens. If the coronavirus is not an issue then why not allow Australians to be able to travel and stay in caravan parks etc. To date I felt that Australia had done a great job but this decision is ridiculous. Does the Government really believe that footballers will obey any restrictions particularly as the fines given are often suspended. I would suggest that the number on their back is not their position but their IQ Past behaviour is the best predictor of future behaviour. Barry A caravan park owner watching his business going down the drain a little each day.
