25.01.2022 For those chasing potable water in the Sandy Flat area Andrew Hines 0407953497 has arranged for a truck to collect some pallets of potable water off us on the 10th. Please co-ordinate with him when you can pick up that water locally in the Sandy Flat area :) There are also have 2 of these civilian fire fighting units available for loan to anyone threatened by fires. Please get in touch with us if you have a need. Dignity Water has already deployed more of these further south, deadset legends they are!

25.01.2022 Great news Tenterfield Shire Residents, we've all been invited to a community discussion hosted by the council, provided you have $15 and free time at 6:45am next Wednesday. https://www.trybooking.com/book/event?eid=592658

21.01.2022 The state government had curtains and booms available that could have prevented our dam from being contaminated with ash this whole time. https://www.abc.net.au//warragamba-dam-installs-b/11866838

18.01.2022 A big ray of hope for these very troubling times we're finding ourselves in. https://www.smh.com.au//it-s-miraculous-owners-say-cultura

16.01.2022 In a really unfortunate turn of events our shipment from Dignity Water was taken to the wrong town. We're really sorry we are only letting residents know now, we've only just found out ourselves. The transport overseer assures us that our shipment will arrive at the correct destination next week on either Friday the 17th or Saturday the 18th. We're deeply sorry to anyone this has inconvenienced and we will be doing our best to source some alternate water to tide us over in the meantime. Stay tuned for details.

15.01.2022 HOW GOOD IS THIS WEATHER?! Does anyone know how many mm of rain each area of the shire got? Anyone with full tanks yet?

13.01.2022 Residents of Tenterfield Shire we would like your help! We're asking for donations of these items before Friday this week. If you have any old tools etc lying around gathering dust we'd really appreciate them for recovery efforts for fire impacted communities on the south coast. The truck bringing our clean drinking water to Tenterfield on Friday will take donated items to fire effected communities once we've unloaded all the water. Every little bit helps. We are now collec...ting the following * Power tools *Gasmate cookers & cylinders *drills *chainsaws (petrol) *garden tools *building and carpentry tools & materials. *Solar or battery operated lights, lanterns *torches *batteries *radios *Usb chargers *camping equipment *generators *jerry cans for water, petrol and diesel. If you'd like to donate some items please get in touch with us via this Facebook page, or text or call 0459572382 and we will arrange to meet you at the shed or come and collect the items from you. Please like and share this post to get the word out.

13.01.2022 Drake and surrounds residents, please be aware that there's a community meeting on Friday at 4:30pm.

09.01.2022 Due to shortages and high demand our bottled water shipment will not be available this week. We are hoping that our water shipment will arrive sometime next week but that remains to be seen due to the ongoing fire fighting/disaster recovery efforts further south. We are not the only communities affected, there are over 18 other communities still awaiting their water shipments. Everyone is doing the best we can to get potable water here for Tenterfield Shire residents as quickly as possible. Stay tuned for updates.

05.01.2022 Thanks to Granite Belt Water Relief we were able to rustle up 2 pallets this afternoon. We've just sent one ute load of water down to Sandy Flat and Bolivia this afternoon with Wayne Halliday. Call or text Wayne on 0421 004 088 if you live in those areas and need water, he'll be giving it out in Friday nights at the RFS shed. If you're a resident of those areas and are having difficulties accessing drinking water please text or call us on 0459572382 or contact us through this page. We'll be sending more water to Sandy flat and Bolivia next Friday when our big delivery finally gets here.

04.01.2022 ALONE WE CAN DO SO LITTLE. TOGETHER WE CAN DO SO MUCH. Granite Belt Water Relief in conjunction with Tenterfield Water Relief and Lindsay Australia recently pla...yed their own small part in getting a portable fire fighting into down to the NSW bushfires, in particular the community at Wingello, New South Wales, Australia and Wingello Rural Fire Brigade. After Dignity Water donated the unit, Lu Walden from Tenterfield Water Relief and Russell Wantling from Granite Belt Water Relief contacted Lindsay Australia who transported the unit from Stanthorpe to Sydney free of charge. What legends. It just goes to show the power of people working together. See more

03.01.2022 Tenterfield water relief will be hosting a water summit with the residents of Tenterfield Shire communities. Our goal is to sit down and discuss water security issues with residents from across the shire to ascertain what residents biggest water security concerns are because each community is experiencing different hurdles to access, from contamination, tank contaminations, scarcity, transport logistics etc. Tenterfield Shire needs to be prepared for the reality that is now hitting Stanthorpe residents. https://www.abc.net.au//stanthorpe-water-runs-ou/11863432
