20.01.2022 Yellow brings sunshine and today no truer words were spoken. Happiness was in the air as our bright and bubbly colours transpired into our play. To replicate a ...sunflower, today we stood in a circle and held hands as the petals while others made a smaller circle on the inside as the stigma. A sunflower means adoration, loyalty and longevity and this is something that we all strive for. Yellow food was, once again, on the menu and you could not wipe the smiles off our faces, until we tried lemon of course :) Keep an eye out for tomorrows post, we are definitely ending the week with a bang!

15.01.2022 Last Thursday we were fortunate enough to be able to hold our End of Year Concert! Like many other services, we thought that this event might not happen. But th...e timing was perfect, and everything lined up so with a few modifications in place we were ready to, literally, rock and roll! Our turn out was amazing and the children performed beautifully and louder than ever! The whole event was topped off with an entire playground of 'chicken dancers', presents and even a cake! What a way to end a term!

03.01.2022 The day that we, and you, have all been waiting for has finally arrived... RAINBOW DAY to celebrate Tommy's birthday and the final day in our 'Colours for Tommy...' fundraiser to raise money, and awareness, for the NPC Foundation. It was a day filled with colour, smiles, happiness and, of course, rainbows! We waited anxiously for our special visitor and just after 10am, our guest of honour arrived. Tommy, his Mum and his two older sisters (former Preschool residents) were here and thrown into the madness of our day. Each year on rainbow day we tie-dye shirts, but this year we had another special treat (on top of the rainbow birthday cake)...Mel Blum from 'Blooming Faces' surprised us all as she showed up with a bag full of paint ready to make our faces glow. And we are happy to report that thanks to the efforts of our Families, Educators and the Tenterfield community we raised $1010 this week!!! We will not be banking until December 18th though, so if you would still like to contribute then you have time :)
