25.01.2022 KM has enjoyed their first block coding lesson today using 'Scratch Jr'! Well done KM!



24.01.2022 Today was the day! This afternoon, Mrs Dubos and Pete shaved their locks for cancer research. In just one week, they have raised over $1500!! We’re all so proud of them and admire their bravery.

21.01.2022 KM Pirate day! Wow! We had such a great day today making fruit swords and ocean wave jars, and we loved following our pirate maps and clues to find the treasure. Thanks to Miss Wiltshire for organising the fun and teaching us for the last 4 weeks!

19.01.2022 Thanks to Miss M, class 3/4 has learnt about sculpture artists and how to create models out of clay.

18.01.2022 Today KM celebrated NAIDOC week with Miss Wiltshire. We read the Dreaming Story 'The Echidna and the Shade Tree' and learnt about how echidnas got their spikes. Then we collected twigs from the playground and made our own echidnas out of clay. Thanks to Hunter 's mum, Lara Sullivan, for donating the clay!

17.01.2022 Introducing the next generation of robot designers! 2G had lots of fun making their own robot designs with Miss Sliwa this afternoon. Their creative minds saw the creation of many unique designs, including Christmas sloth robots and koala robots. Miss Gibbs has already placed an order for the taco robot... here’s hoping production starts soon!

16.01.2022 Year 6 of 2019 and 2020 raised over $1700 to donate a new bell to the school. Today it was given at Presentation day assembly.

05.01.2022 3/4T have been very busy this week. A tiny glimpse of some budding architects, builders and engineers here as they build cardboard gingerbread houses with Mrs Brazer.

05.01.2022 Congratulations to the 2020 Children's University graduates! These students have collectively completed a huge 2216 hours of learning outside the classroom. Hopefully next year our CU students can celebrate, as we have in the past, in the Great Hall at the University of Newcastle.

04.01.2022 Stage 2 and 3 students are having so much fun with Miss Barnett and Mrs Maytom in STEM club! This week, we started building and programming WeDo Lego robots using block coding.
