11.01.2022 Can anyone help Linda with her request? I'm trying to find out the location of a business or a business/home in Estcourt Street. Archibald Gilmour & his younger brother Malcolm moved to Terang in late 1885 or early 1886 & traded as Gilmour Brothers, Cabinet makers & Carpenters.... Archibald was married with 1 child when he left Warrnambool to live in Terang & had 5 more children whilst living there. Malcolm was single & returned to Warrnambool after the the business partnership was dissolved in November 1887. Archibald continued to operate the business, but after a fire in November 1890 & lack of trade he lodged an Application for Insolvency in September 1892 then returned to Warrnambool to live. 05.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who helped with Kevin Piper's query about the Patterson girls. Think we now have it sorted. Thanks all....great to have your help.

04.01.2022 I am not sure if this query got posted for people to read...... Kevin Piper asks: I was wondering whether anyone may have information on the Patterson family from 'The Sisters' RSD Terang..? Circa mid to late '70's. I am unable to recall the parents names, and I think the Dad was Greg.? They had two daughters, Debbie and Sue. Debbie would be around 60 and Sue, a little younger. I am writing my memoirs and would like to make contact with either one to assist. a group of us became friends with them during a trip to Adelaide in early 1978. From memory, Debbie left the area to make a career on a cruise ship, perhaps travelling to Sydney, then onto the Darwin area. This I am uncertain. No ulterior motive intended. Kevin has provided an email if anyone can help...just message us and we will forward for you. Hope someone can help.

03.01.2022 Please pass on to ourWW 2 vets.
