23.01.2022 On Friday we got to do something really fun for NAIDOC week called Doing Things Together Day. Everyone from the school got into groups and walked around to visit classrooms and do fun cultural activities. My favourite activity was when I got to make a mandala by putting rocks in the clay and when I got to paint Aboriginal symbols on rocks. I had lots of fun! - Thea.

16.01.2022 Last week on Wednesday we got to go to the Minnamurra Rainforest. Everyone from K-2 went on a bus for about an hour. When we got there we met two park rangers who showed us around the rainforest and did fun activities with us. We saw two eastern water dragons, three lyrebirds and little waterfalls. My favourite part was when we walked across the really tall bridges and saw all the animals. I had a lot of fun and can't wait to go on another excursion. - Abby

11.01.2022 Here are a few of our favourite learning activities in K/1G. This term we have enjoyed learning about informative texts. We have put our research to the test by using facts from two different animals to create our own imaginary creatures. Some other activities we have enjoyed are reading, mathematics, robotics, art and sport.

08.01.2022 Last term in their STEM lessons, 5/6C needed to design robots that were robust enough to compete in a battle royale tournament. After weeks of following the design process and continual improvement, they finally got to put their robot to the ultimate test in the long awaited tournament. Watch their video to see how they went! Well done to all students. Your robots were all so different and competitive in their own way. A special mention goes to Dusty, Caleb and Lachy who changed the game forever by working out how to control their robot with an XBOX controller. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiMUxY2b0og&t=182s
