24.01.2022 Another question we often get is, Where and how many areas do I put the bait?. Always put the bait on active termites. It’s no good putting bait on old termite damage because there mightn’t be any termites there and you don't want to waste your bait. Remember you're checking your stations every 3-4 weeks and only baiting where you find activity. https://www.termigold.com/termigold-faqs-where-do-i-bait-i/
24.01.2022 The beauty of Termigold bait is it’s been trialed for five years and it doesn’t break down. It comes in powder form, in a sealed container so as long as you put the lid back on and keep it high and dry and away from moisture it’s proven five years with no problems at all, it will probably last longer. https://www.termigold.com/termigold-faqs-what-is-the-shelf/
23.01.2022 Termites can’t hear but they can feel vibrations so some species will make a sound we can hear when they are threatened or disturbed. It sometimes confused as a chewing sound however it is actually the termites communicating with eachother by banging their heads against the walls of their tunnels. Termites will not always make this sound and as they are master hiders they can go undetected for weeks, months, sometimes a year. As your house insurance policy does not protect against termite damage it is worth protecting your home against the threat of future attack. https://www.termigold.com/the-sound-of-termites/
23.01.2022 What if the termites aren't taking to the bait? This is a great question because it does happen, it even happens to us. There could be multiple reasons why they’re not taking the bait....https://www.termigold.com/termigold-faqs-what-if-the-termi/ https://www.termigold.com/termigold-faqs-what-if-the-termi/
21.01.2022 This unsuspecting family did everything right before purchasing their home on the Gold Coast only to find it has been deemed unsafe and has to be demolished due to termite damage. Daniel Golin, our Managing Director has been with them from their first call in January. TermiGold was created by Daniel to arm the DIY market with an effective, affordable solution to protect against termites. If you have been thinking about installing a system and last nights feature with him on A Current Affair doesn't answer all your questions then give us a call 1300 965 532, we're happy to help. https://www.termigold.com/daniel-golin-owner-of-termigold-/
20.01.2022 It’s a common misconception that termites hibernate during the winter. The fact is that termites remain active all year round, even during the colder winter months. https://www.termigold.com/termite-activity-in-winter/
17.01.2022 https://www.termigold.com/diy-termite-stations-sydney/ Termites can severely damage a home in very little time. Proactive pest control treatment is the best method to prevent termites from entering your home and destroying your home’s foundation.
13.01.2022 To find out what size kit you will need, measure the linear meters around your home where the stations are going to go - this might be around a patio, around a pool or just outside your footpaths. Once you have the whole distance, divide it by three, and that’ll give you the amount of stations you need because we’re running at three meter centers. https://www.termigold.com/termigold-faqs-how-many-stations/
11.01.2022 What I love about this system is this system is the most eco-friendly way to treat termites in the world https://www.termigold.com/termigold-faqs-is-the-bait-safe/
11.01.2022 Another question we get asked often is, "Why do I need a full barrier around my home? Why can't I just buy a few stations, or a 12 pack and that'll do my whole house?".

09.01.2022 Termites are renowned for their capability to destroy timber structures, support beams, walls and door and window frames in an extremely short period of time. A standard sized subterranean termite colony can eat as much as 6.8kg of wood and other materials per week! This is why it’s so important to protect your biggest asset, your home. And it doesn’t need to be difficult. TermiGold offers the easiest and most effective DIY Termite Bait Melbourne has to offer. https://www.termigold.com/diy-termite-bait-melbourne/
09.01.2022 How long it takes to get rid of a colony of termites will depend on the species - if you’ve got Coptotermes, sometimes one month the whole colony is gone, they’re super aggressive. Then you’ve got Schedorhinotermes, which is another aggressive species but can take five, six months because they don’t molt as often throughout the year. It’s the molting process where they die out. In the winter sometimes, they’re metabolism is slower and they can take longer to molt. Generally it’s between three and four months we find, in most cases, the colony is completely gone. https://www.termigold.com/termigold-faqs-how-long-does-it-/
08.01.2022 Where Do I Bait? This is a great question because people have never done this before and they’re learning, so what we say is wherever you find active termites you bait... https://www.termigold.com/termigold-faqs-where-do-i-bait/
