13.01.2022 Insect sticky bait boards are a great alternative to sprays, especially in areas such as food preparation zones. Here you can see the sticky trap has lured many German Cockroaches, once inside they become stuck and cannot escape. They are also a great way to monitor current activity levels of insects too.

12.01.2022 You could safely say that the majority of Sunshine Coast residences have experienced very high numbers of these little guys invading their houses this year. The Black House Ant (Ochetellus glaber) usually nests outside under stones, potplants or dry fallen logs but venture into houses in search of food, water and sometimes shelter. Here you can see them feeding on a sugar based gel, which is then transported back to the nest and fed to the queen, which in turns kill it and thus stops further reproduction in the colony. The delayed action insecticide also eventually kills the rest of the colony that feed on the gel. This combined with other pest management practises can reduce, and in most cases eliminate the problem.
